I thought it was intimidating at first, but that all disappeared when I started painting. It is just paint when used properly. You have to be mindful of air brush pressures and air brush spraying techniques.

Thanks Carl! I have to give thanks to my friend Paul for supplying me with this fantastic paint!

Underhood detail is done and the nose is on. First, it was drawn out in paint and then I added the decals. More AMG GT to come...

Very nice! But, an automatic shifter with a manual transmission? I did say the model is very nice!

I polished the Mercedes this afternoon. I used NuFinish Scratch Doctor followed by Novus 2 Fine Scratch Remover. I'll use Novus 1 when the model is assembled. This color is gorgeous! I'll have to zip out into the heat and view this in the sunshine! More AMG GT to come...

Thanks Carl! I added a set of heater hoses to the Mustang GT last night to match my Spenser For Hire 1987 Mustang GT. This is something I haven't done in a while and I should start doing this again.

I made my air box from scratch. It's a little bit short, but it's not too bad! Dex Parios will return...

I added the air intake tube and it didn't fit. I trimmed the air box and I tried to make it fit and I eventually removed it. I will have to make one from scratch. I added an ignition coil and mounted it on the shock tower. Dex Parios will return...

Thank you, Chris! -
Thanks, guys! I've had those wheels for several years and I wasn't sure where I was going to use them. Then I thought of this '53 Chevy and I said, "Why not!"

My new project is the Monogram '53 Chevy Bel Air. This kit was given to me several years ago and I have been thinking about it lately. This kit has had the body painted already and it is partially foiled by Tim Rhine of the Classic Plastic Model Club who gave me the kit. I will finish the body and will add some parts from the Monogram '53 Corvette to the engine and wheels and tires from Steve Zimmerman. The interior will be painted dark red. More Bel Air to come...

Thank you, Carl and Curtis! Curtis, I am still looking for a soft top for this Jeep. I may have to resort to building one from sheet styrene. -

My Gilmore Girls Jeep Wrangler is completed and is in Under Glass. I would like to thank all those who have viewed and commented on my WIP. -
This is my Revell Jeep Wrangler painted with Tamiya AS-15 Tan with three coats of Tamiya TS-13 Gloss Clear. The interior has been painted with Tamiya TS-29 Semi-Gloss Black and Tamiya TS-6 Matt Black and the seats have been painted with Tamiya TS-4 German Grey. I replaced the tires with a set from a Moebius 1972 Ford F100 pickup truck kit and I lowered the suspension about 1/4 inch total for a stock look. The only thing missing is a soft top for the Jeep.
