  1. I would check with the Auto Color Library for colors and Pontiac Engine Colors for paint details.
  2. Looking good Jeremy! Looking forward to more! I built the ZZ Top '33 Ford many years ago. Just rebuilt it a couple of years ago. It's a decent kit, but not the best one out there.
  3. Looking good, John! I built the Revell '68 VW Beetle several years ago as the first car McNally, Boston PI got when he was a teenager.
  4. I did some detailing on the front grille, rear trunk lid and the taillights. Then I started taping the hood for the Performance Hood Treatment. More GTX to come...
  5. Just found this and It is an excellent job done!
  6. Thank you Jeremy and James!
  7. I had forgotten to post it on the WIP page. It is there now for all to read! Sorry about that, Chief!
  8. Thank you David! The Build My '97 Dodge Caravan LE is completed and posted in Under Glass. I would like to thank all those who have viewed and commented on my WIP. The Story McNally arrives on the scene only to discover the cops hiding behind their SUV. Jack Tirana has taken to shooting at the cops and threatening to take Teresa's life if they don't leave. The cops have called for SWAT and a hostage negotiator to come a take over for them. McNally tries to talk to Jack and he doesn't respond. The hostage negotiator arrives and demands that McNally move his car and leave and he will take over. McNally moves his car and drives around the block and sneaks over to the far side of the house and he removes a screen and crawls in through the open window and quietly sneaks into the kitchen. When he is about 8 feet away from Jack, he turns around and McNally shoots him before he could shoot McNally with his drawn gun. McNally cuts the duct tape from Teresa's wrists and ankles after he had checked to see if Jack was dead and pick up his revolver. He moves the table that was blocking the side door and he hands over Jack's gun to the cops and takes Teresa over to a waiting ambulance to be checked over. The hostage negotiator yells at McNally that he went against his rules and McNally should be arrested for his actions. Lt. Det. Adam Troy arrives on the scene and he talks to the hostage negotiator who wants McNally arrested. Adam won't do it since McNally had rescued Teresa from Jack Tirana and he had saved everyone from remaining on the scene longer than necessary. Jack was ready to die and take Teresa with him and the loss of Jack's life was acceptable to Adam and others at the scene, except for the hostage negotiator.
  9. This is my '97 Caravan LE painted with MCW Seafoam Turquoise Metallic and a Tamiya TS-67 IJN Grey interior. This is a curbside model with no engine.
  10. Thanks Jeremy! The Story With her daughter, Molly safely at school and John Jr. in the hospital, Teresa goes home to take a shower and to change her clothes. She pulls into the driveway with her Caravan and gets out of the van and walks to the side door with her keys out. She stops at the side door and unlocks it and opens the door and she feels a gun at her back and a hand over her mouth telling her to be quiet and she is pushed into the house. She is bound by duct tape and a piece is placed over her mouth to keep her quiet and it was all done by Jack Tirana. Jack tells her that if she squirms around and make any noise, he will kill her. McNally drives back to Jack's apartment and he is not there and his car is gone. He calls Teresa and his calls go to voicemail. McNally calls Adam and he requests a well fair check on Teresa at her home and Adam sends a squad car out to her address. Once the cops get to Teresa's house Jack barricades the side door with an overturned table pushed up against the door and he starts shooting his revolver at the cops yelling that if they come near the house, he will shoot Teresa. The cops call Adam and he calls McNally who drives over to Teresa's house. The Build I snapped on the body over the interior, windows and the chassis. This is looking really good! More parts ready for paint! McNally, Boston PI will return...
  11. Thanks Carl! At times, my hand isn't that steady either. I have to use Silly Putty to mask off a molded in part to paint it. Sometimes, I just don't care and just go for broke!
  12. The Story As McNally drove away, he receive a phone call from Teresa. John Jr. has to go back into surgery to relieve the pressure around his brain. McNally says he will be there shortly. This wasn't expected, but John Jr. needs the surgery and Massachusetts General Hospital is an excellent hospital to have this done by qualified doctors. The Build Some detailing of the chassis was done today. I still have to add the paint for the spare rim. I added the wheels and tires. McNally, Boston PI will return....
  13. Thanks Bil! The chassis is almost completed, except for the exhaust tips, wheels and tires. More GTX to come...
  14. Thanks Carl and Maxx!
  15. Thanks Alex! I did a sniff test on this and it is still gassing out even after 12 hours in my dehumidifier. It is dry to the touch, but still gassing out.
  16. The Story McNally stops at Jack's apartment, but he wasn't there. A search of the local bars and taverns finds Jack at a place called Rolly's Bar and Jack staggers out of the bar trying to light a damp cigarette. McNally is sitting on the fender of his Dodge Charger SRT8 Super Bee and he says, "Come over here and talk to me, Jack!" Jack replies, "Leave me alone!" "Come on Jack, show me the hands that would strike a little kid?" Jack stops, throws his damp cigarette away and he tries to find another one on him and he doesn't have one. Jack stuffs his hands deep into his jacket pockets and he staggers along, probably heading for home. "Come on Jack, show me those hands!" Jack continues to stagger and stumble home while McNally gets into his Super Bee and drives away. The Build I gave the Caravan another coat of paint making sure that the rocker panels got a good covering. McNally will return...
  17. I painted the GTX this afternoon. More GTX to come...
  18. I decided to add more detail to my 440 6 pack. I used a piece of wire and some superglue and added the hose from the PCV valve to the carbs. Then I found my Shabo Tire Graphics and added Goodyear to the tires. I thought I had an extra set of water slide decals, but I must have used them elsewhere. More GTX to come...
  19. The 440 CID engine is complete and ready to be installed in the chassis. I added the air cleaner and decal and then I installed a STP Racing decal on the oil filter. The alternator has some clear red paint on the fins to represent the wire turnings on the armature. The wheels and tires have been further detailed and I still need to find tire decals in my stash that I know I have. More GTX to come...
  20. Just because it has mag wheels on it doesn't mean to paint the engine a different color. Street Hemi Orange is the standard color of a high performance 440 CID engine.
  21. A standard 440 came in turquoise. A high performance 440 came in Street Hemi Orange.
