Thanks Jim and Carl! I was thinking about using mineral spirits. We shall see. I have built the '32 Roadster, the '32 3 and 5 Window coupes. I can see Revell reissuing these again and again since they are great kits! The '29 and '30 Model A's do offer some great mix and match possibilities, but be careful as some matches require some mods for good fitment.

I have painted my '77 Monaco with Tamiya TS-43 Racing Green. Another coat or two should darken the color some more. I also painted the interior bucket with Tamiya AS-15 Tan. Now to detail the dash and interior and paint up the radio. Hunter will return...

The Story Darvell rushes back to Homicide with pictures of the license plate from the mystery killer's car and the car belongs to Mr. Virden, Cannon's right hand man. Lt. Det. Troy calls the ADA for an arrest warrant for Virden and whne they do get the warrant, they drive out to Virden's condo to arrest him. Except, he wasn't there. They drive out to Brookline, MA to Cannon's house to see if he is there, but Virden hasn't been seen since lunch at Legal Seafood. When the cops leave Cannon's house, Cannon yells to find Viden NOW! The Build The interior is now complete, or so I thought. The laptop computer sits on top of the shifter and I have been thinking about creating a dash-mount shifter like the cop cars actually have. I have been slowly polishing the paint having finished the hood, roof and trunk lid. I still have to polish the sides. A mockup showed some resistance on the front, so I removed the fender mounts and sanded the fender lips with my Dremel and a sanding bit. McNally will return...

I took a piece of wide masking tape and masked off the grille so I could paint the grille surface flat black. When I removed the tape, I was left with bleed-through and tape residue on the chrome. Now to figure out how to remove the bleed-through and the tape residue. The seats have been painted. I sanded the body, but the side panels need to be repainted since they fell victim to my dropping my small bottle of paint thinner for brush cleaning. More Model A to come...

Thank you guys! The number one question will always be how Gibbs gets his boats out of the basement.
-
Good looking model, Dominik, but that is a 1967 Ford Mustang GT and not a Shelby GT350.

Getting close is all we can do. If Mike Finnegan decides to make a change to Blasphemi, since he is still racing the car, we may not know about the change or even see it. It might be a change that is out of camera range.

Thanks John! I found a partial can of Tamiya TS-53 Deep Metallic Blue that I once used on a Ford GT. It should be dark enough to match the Dupli-Color Stellar Blue Pearl that I originally used on the '29 Model A.

A mockup to check my work. This is looking great and I wished I thought of it earlier! I sanded the body and now to take it apart for a bath. The firewall will be primed and painted, but I don't know if it would be white or body colored. John took the original dash and I had a spare from the AMT '32 Ford Phaeton. Now to primer it, paint and detail it. More Model A to come...

Thanks David and Jim! I usually glue some or all of my wheels on and usually for rake or height. I have not done anything about the paint issue yet, but I do have some ideas. I had this vision of using the Coupe's inner structure and it just doesn't fit. So I took the Roadster's inner structure and placed inside the Roadster's body and, of course it fits better. I took my hobby knife and scored the interior panels and removed them and I liked the look a whole lot better. I am moving forward and using these side panels instead. More Model A to come...

Looking good, John!

This is the third version of the Revell '29/'30 Model A that I have assembled. I always dread putting on the front wheels and tires since I worry that I may break the front axle. I have decided to trim the front pins and use them for a locating pin instead and gluing the wheel on. This also prevents the model from moving needlessly on a table or other flat surface.

Thanks David! In the past, I have used left over gauges for use in these Chargers. I no longer have any since they were all used.

They show now, but they weren't showing before. I like them especially the blue LT1/ZR1. Great job!

The Story Lt. Det. Troy observes Det. Darvell rushing into Homicide and he takes the disc in his pocket and inserts it into the D Drive of his computer and he watches the screen. Adam walks out from his office to Darvell's desk and he asks what he has found. Darvell points out the car in the video backing out and hitting Shawn Whittaker's car. Darvell wants to view the license plate of the car that hit Whittaker's but it was too small. He says that he has to take the disc down to Audio/Video Forensics to get an enhance picture of the plate. He pops the disc out and he waddles out of Homicide to see if they can enhance the picture. Lt. Det. Troy likes to see Darvell working so hard. Maybe he is turning over a new leaf! He heard that Darvell is thinking of taking the Sergeants Exam. The Build I have assembled the interior and added a laptop computer and a two-way radio to the interior. I will add a power cord and an antenna cable to the back of the radio. McNally will return...

I've been working on assembling the chassis. I sure hate these spindly front suspensions! Anyway, the chassis is up on its wheels and tires and it's level, too. Now, to figure out what I am going to do about the body... More Model A to come...

Thanks for the tip, RRR! This particular paint must be very hot since I have used Dupli-Color paint over Tamiya primer without any issues what so ever. I have been assembling the chassis and the wheels and tires. More Model A to come...
-
I primered and painted the '29 Roadster today, but the results were not what I had hoped for. This hot paint crazed the plastic inspite of the primer I used. I guess some sanding is in order for this hot rod. More Model A to come...

Thanks Michael and RRR! After I had finished the engine, I took a look at the Small Block Chevy in my first '29 Model A Roadster and the engine is very close to the firewall. So much so that I removed the ignition coil and laid it flat on top the the driver's side of the intake manifold. This should help with any clearance issues.
-
I have finally finished the Small Block Chevy with its three deuces. I wired the engine and added a ignition coil since Revell never included one. More Model A to come...

Thanks RRPjr! To answer your question, yes this kit does come with an automatic transmission.
