  1. LOL@ dip stick me too!!! I made the stinking purge valve on the firewall and no dipstick lol.
  2. Thanks for the info on the wires. Those plugs and boots look really sweet! I made these ones out of wire and drilled out the distributer with a knife. I went by a pic I printed up on google of a sweet red Bee but I know it was not correct either.I wish my phone did better cause this is my first attempt of a highly detailed engine bay and my phone does not capture half of it. Heck the driver side wires look that way to go around the scratch built bracket for the throttle linkage spring. Next time i want those boots and plugs though for sure!!
  3. Nice way to egg on the war Charles I'm thinking....( just cause I want one in real life) maybe a dark metallic purple hearse? Cool thought for the build too bud
  4. I am amazed at the work you do here and wow. Great car, color and restoration. I'd love to be able to make windows so you have me in awe. Which arm of mine or leg for windows for a 75 Road Runner/Fury 2 door? Seriously, very nice work on a cool racer.
  5. Hey Nick I like watching your Birds and makes me want to re-do mine. I built this when I was 18. What do you think? Oh and I love your Ralley wheels the paint is great.
  6. Great builds so far everyone! Cranky I'm newer here so from what I see welcome back too! Wow you make our work cut out for us May I ask everyone what is a decent grate material? Like for head lights, grills, windshield areas? I see some of you have some cool resources. Thanks.. Happy Hobby'n Here is my beginning..
  7. You really make me want one of these even more thanks a lot wow this car looks like fun, Great job!
  8. I built this originally boring. Orange and black and boring. Pencil flames did not help it either so.... I stripped it and painted it and now I am open for suggestions. This is my first 2 tone paint and I left a stripe area for another color but I am not sure how do this and get rid of the tape lines left from painting. I am also thinking this would look good as a Pro Touring project? Thanks for looking
  9. This is a re-release of the old HOT ROD magazine truck. The cab is still split and the tires as well. I wanted this kit forever and was really sad of the quality of molding. Way to much excess plastic and very little detail but that will soon change. I missed a huge step do to I did a lot of body work and this truck looked cool as a beater so once again thoughts welcomed and enjoy. Oh and those whees are not staying its for moch up only.
  10. I have done a lot of fine detail on this car that my phone will not capture and I have never spent this much time just under the hood. I will tell all when its under glass. I have not been on the bench in awhile so I apologize friends and hope you enjoy! opinions always welcome
  11. All I can say Is its a real disappointment for me about the Penske team. Is it for 24 or the season? I think that team grew a lot last year. I can't believe Lexus did not take advantage of Pontiac's absence. No Mustangs?????? Oh and GO ANDY LALLY!!!!!!!!
  12. So doing this is also what makes the strip on your profile when others click on it huh??
  13. <~~~~~Don't know where to begin so I'll end with WOW!
  14. Nice color choice and I really like the touch of white in the interior. It reflects on the older models. Nice to know it went together well as I have thought about getting one of these so thanks for sharing
  15. This build is just way to cool! I love the effect on the back tires and the detail is really amazing on the engine. I love the Deora as concept and Hot Wheel and you really hit a winner here!
  16. Edward, Cal wow those are great lookin windows by the way. I've heard of Future but am very unfamiliar with it. What is it and you just dip windows in it? Sorry it's more than likely a well covered topic but hey... lol. Again thanks all for advice.
  17. Thanks all for the ideas and thoughts. I forgot to mention that it was Testors orange/red tube. I hate that stuff but its all I have. Thanks Marty a ton! (Marty sanded and buffed it out and let me borrow some clear parts glue ) I never knew about. With as bad as my luck is with them I like that post it idea I will buy some clear parts or that Formula stuff soon the wash away idea sounds Brian proof

  22. Ok so I know you all want to laugh at me but I'm sure you have all done it at one point I am having Terrible luck as now I'm at 3 models in a row with glue on the windshield and this one is BAD. Any ideas for getting it off without ruining it or is it garbage? If its garbage, anyone local..... I need a windshield for a 70 Superbee... Ugh... ... Thanks
  23. Great shots from the auction and thanks for sharing them. Who in their right mind would have thought that So. Cal and here In Phoenix would have been that rough that week. Barrett Jackson was better of than the other auction that was here at the same time. They had over a mill in damage from the storms. Glad you made it safe and had fun!
