Here is a teaser update as I wait for the plow frame to set and the main part of the porch. I also am in the middle of painting the weapons. This set is so cool there is 2 brackets so there is double of every gun ammo strips and knives that are on the box. I also got the engine back in... Enjoy..

pre-wired distributors....
Railfreak78 replied to gasman's topic in General Automotive Talk (Trucks and Cars)
I go to Hobby Lobby and get very thin wire where they have fake flowers and hot glue guns. Its in different sizes and it comes only in green. I hallow out the distributer and run the wires in it like a tube idea. You get a ton of wire for $3 a bag and I use it for a lot of detail. Check out my Super Bee under glass. -

Carpet is actually a piece of fabric from Hobby Lobby by the bead and bandana sections. They are 4 for $1 lol and not to thick and sticks very well with red tube glue. Thanks for looking!

User Questions About Krylon, Etc
Railfreak78 replied to Bruce Poage's topic in General Automotive Talk (Trucks and Cars)
I use Krylon a lot and the newer style can and nozzle is not all that bad. I read somewhere about the flat paints and thats what I used on the Suburban build I'm doing and I loved it. I also just did the interior with the saddle tan on my pool truck and It needed a second coat but no big. I do however recommend to ALWAYS use primer first on any kit your going to rattle can. They are right , it can eat the plastic and you get horrible runs. Primer coat, light dust coat from about 5 to 6 inches away, then one or to good coats usually works good for me. -
Sorry about the pics man Photobucket was acting up on me on your account. I'll fix it when I can. I got most of them up and man I love the bottom of that and the color. It photographs well huh?

Charles that is great about the Diorama!! . The poll thing would be really cool too. I don't have any progress today sorry guys. I have to many projects going on and today it was the pool trucks turn. I did get more weapons and more ideas though. In fact the Suburban sits right next to me so I plotted out the "porch" (supply area on the back and porch is in my train blood as a term on the EMD SD40-2) This thing is almost as big I'm also really getting the itchy finger to make a little something extra in this build so I will be hard and heavy on it tomorrow. Blake thanks for the complements and for starting this thread its a blast for sure.!

Here is my progress so far. I did the interior and included for the first time I laid carpet down. I started making the pole and net. I also picked up paint buckets on clearance that are about the right size for the Tabs and shock and such. Installed the bar to hold the chem bins in place. I have to do some mods cause the low rider kit even with big tires sits to low. As always comments and suggestions are welcome and Enjoy!

I agree this is a great replica of my favorite Ferrari as well. I love the size and the lines of this beauty and you did it very well. Nice to see a stock version and not a Challenge car

congratulations Saints!
Railfreak78 replied to cruz's topic in General Automotive Talk (Trucks and Cars)
Porky I have to agree. I actually like sports though. I love racing, football and some basketball. However as a kid I dreamed of playin ball and it wasn't for money. Look at the parks across the country packed with youth that would gladly take a 16th of the pay the lowest paid "star" gets. -
That guy in the red Chevy needs to be tied up for an old school public stone throwing contest. I'd love to have a rig like that. To bad it didn't land on him when it came down. Grrrrrrr....

Welcome back Blake! Nice to see ya bud! Hey Kevin man you should watch Death Race. That will get your mind going! Oh and I can't wait to see that SSR kit done up all crazy. Nice to see the tread really going. I'll work on mine today some more. Have a great day guys!

That is one bad to the bone death ride! I love the blood all over the door handles and down the sides. Love the rust on the bumpers too! How the heck you get your own decals?? I need to do that for my pool care truck on the workbench. Nice car man and I'm glad you joined the build with us. This has been so fun I may just have to make a car for the Zombie side
