Since I'm kinda on a pre-war street rod kick right now, I'm going to cut the body off this gluebomb AMT '28 Ford sedan, and combine with the AMT '29 parts, as well as the new Revell '29. More to come...

Thanks guys! It's nice to finish something for a change!

I finally finished one! I built this one quickly (over a two week span, or about 25 total hours, give or take...) AMT/MPC 1932 Chevy. Tried to get it done for a local show that had a Rat Rod theme, but didn't quite make it, so I just finished it. This car is going thru an identity crisis...is it a Rat, or a driver work in progress? Not sure, but I think it turned out pretty cool looking. Phantom Vickie chassis, rear tires, and cooling fan. Revell '62 Impala 409 and 4-speed, with Rat Roaster blower/carbs/velocity stacks/air cleaners, etc. Aluminum rear wheel sleeves, frame spreader bar, and steering column. Parts box wheel centers. Cut down frameless windshield. Monogram '57 Corvette steering wheel. Hypodermic needle tall shifter. Trans tunnel made from cut-down aircraft aux tank. '61 Impala taillights. Beretta Pro Street headers. MAD distributor. Everything else came from the '32 Chevy kit, some parts modified, some out of the box as-is. Weathered/worn Duplicolor primer body, Model Master "Green Go" lacquer accents. Let me know what you think...

WELCOME Jason! You've come to the RIGHT place! No such thing as ruining a kit, its just practice for the next one! It can always become a parts box addition Now get building, you'll feel better -

Looks GREAT! -
I just drilled 'em out Curtis...not sure if I'm going back with the four round tips in aluminum tubing, or some other shape(s)??? Thanks for the additional comments guys. I've got several different directions I can go with the full-width opening, still trying other options. A coat of primer may help (yellow is tough!!!)
