  1. After the Pontiac I decided to add a little more power for '59 Simca with Blown Hemi and other parts from Revell Miss Deal Studebaker kit. Tons of modifications were done with the interior, engine and chassis, and it was very fun build.
  2. Thanx, Bob! Here's some more. The 8th build was '67 Impala SS from AMT kit. I changed the tires because kit's original tires were too small, and added some details. Other than that it's basic BoxStock build. Kit is great too, but watch the body-chassis fit very closely. The 9th build was Arnie Beswick's Packer Pontiac Super Stocker. Well it's not 100% finished, the hood is still in the paint booth, but I count it finished this year though. I added details to the kit, but otherwise it's box stock build.
  3. The 6th Finished build was Revell's Hemi Dart. Very nice kit, I added some details to it but no more special things. I wanted to build a car that could have raced on Nostalgia Events nowadays. After the Hemi Dart I built Slingshot Dragster from AMT Double Dragster kit. I tried to replicate the Old School look on this one, not my best quality builds, but I still like it very much. I added some details, polished the paint and other basic stuff.
  4. The 4th build was very fast and simple after that Nova. It has Bugatti body and Chevy SmallBlock with many modifications and scratchbuilt parts. It was built in two or three or four days, can't remember correctly, but a fast build between more serious projects. Then I built Revell's Kenworth W900 which I bought from Daytona Beach, Florida. No special details on this one, but very fun build to complete. My first (But not the last) Truck build.
  5. Here is a Thread about my Finished builds for 2012. Looks like I can't get the Gumball Camaro finished since there's too much bodywork to get completed on time. There are 11 builds in Total, if I count right. 1st was the VW 1300, built for GrandFather as a Birthday Gift. Box Stock except of Finnish License Plates. The 2nd build was the Austin Mini built for another GrandFather as a Birthday Gift. Pretty much Box Stock except for plug wires and I drilled those wheel-holes open and changed Finnish License plates. The 3rd one was F/Stock Nova Drag Racer. A lot of modifications were done to get it as realistic NHRA Stocker which could run good times in the Strip. It may look Box Stock, but it is not.
  6. I just bought MPC Fire Fighter Mustang Glue Bomb, which has a body what is molded to blue as you see in the pictures. It doesn't completely look like Fire Fighter kit's body, so you tell me from what kit it is. Previous owner has cut the front end off from it.
  7. Fire Fighter Mustang Glue Bomb and three pairs of 9" slicks. I actually think the body is not from Fire Fighter Mustang, I'll post a question of it in Modeling Q&A section, see better pics of it there.
  8. This will be interesting, A Friend for the '57 Chevy ProMod. I'll be watching this one very closely, you do excellent job with the frame. It looks very good already. What body is that, it looks like resin from the underside, but.......?
  9. 1. '62 Chevrolet Bel Air Bubbletop with 409 and Manual transmission. Dogdish hubcaps and steelies with very high profile tires. One of the most beautiful cars ever made. 2. '60 Chevrolet Impala HardTop with 348 W-Block and TriPower. My dad has one, with 283 SBC and Powerglide though, but it's very nice car and I'd like to have one with the W-Block. It would be with same kind of tires and wheels as the '62 Bubbletop. 3. '63 Chevrolet Impala Z-11 Stocker with 427 Mystery Motor and Manual transmission. It would be my Race Car here, one of the nicest cars ever made, too. 4. '71 Buick GSX Stage One with 455 Big Block. Yellow paint of course. I guess this is pretty clear choice, maybe nicest Buick ever produced. 5. '79 Jeep Wagoneer. This would be a car for the Winter here in Finland. ...And currently I'm just waiting for the Driver's License age, but meanwhile I'm driving a '80 Tunturi Trial.
  10. Thanks John and Ron! Interesting information too, thanks for that too. Today I was working with the fuel lines for this thing. There's a lot of work to do before they're complete so I don't have a picture yet. Hope to have more done tomorrow and some pictures for you too.
  11. Thanks for the pictures of this kit. It's always nice to see these H-Bodies. You're correct, the body looks good from the pictures, but can't say the same thing from chassis and interior, especially the backseat doesn't look real. The AMT kit with that horrible box-art is better, especially the interior and chassis are better in that kit. This was sold in Spring 2012 ( ), it was very fun car with Chevy SmallBlock. Well, it's a '79 Skyhawk, but mostly they are same cars.
  12. Turned out excellent! These Front Engine Dragsters are really nice and I like them more than Rear Engine Dragsters, too. Your paint work is amazing and really like that Coyote decal you did. Excellent detailing too.
  13. Looks excellent! I'm so glad to see you back on the bench with this one, it will turn out fantastic. The seat looks very smooth to me, this is absolutely like "Building Every Part Like It Would Be A Model Itself". And that's great way, I should try it some point too, but meanwhile I keep drooling this one.
  14. I really like these Regals, Grand Nationals, GNX and other Buicks from that era. You did excellent job with the conversion, it looks like real deal to me. Nice paint and great detailing on the engine bay. I really like it. The wheels give nice finishing touches to this one. Very Nice! And picture limit is Five pics in one post.
  15. Engine is installed now to the chassis, next I will put the engine bay together and install the Brake Master Cylinder and other parts. The body should be dry for Foiling soon, too.
  16. Thanks Corey! Once you get the Funny Car build started, keep us posted . I got the Chi Town Hustler of four wheels. Rear axle fit very very nicely to the chassis, but I had some problems with the front axle. Anyway I got it assembled somehow. Actually those rear tires are just mocked up, the brakes are still missing but I had to test how it looks on four wheels.
  17. A lot of Snow, but something Model Related too. This came in the Mail today. A Revell '71 GTX Glue Bomb and some Misc. Drag Racing parts, engines, headers etc. The GTX will be built bit rusty and it will be a project-car without engine or transmission.
  18. I'm still trying to get my Camaro done, there's a lot of body work to do still. If everything goes well, I should have it painted soon and finished in time.
  19. Thanks guys! Much appreciated. I've been in a hurry for the past few days with the school and other things as well. But I try to get some more work done today.
  20. Well that's nice build of nice subject! I like the look, it's just right. That white and blue color combo fits nicely to this one and I like the engine detailing alot. Where are those front wheels from? I know AMT Double Dragster have 12 spoke wheels, but I wonder if that's not the only kit.
  21. That looks GOOD. Nice body modifications, smooth lines on this Custom. Beautiful paint too, shiny, excellent color choice and it looks smooth too. Nice details and I like those exhaust pipes on the chassis. Keep 'em coming.
  22. That looks good as always your builds do. Nice overall look, the stance is just right and I really like the detailing too. Excellent paint job and very nice detailing too.
  23. I got this one yesterday. A '64 Dodge 330 Glue Bomb. I have to say thanks to ChevyCoupe41. It has Max Wedge and Slant Six engines and one set of '66 Malibu flames too. The chassis will be taken to '60 Dodge Phoenix, from the rest of the '64 Dodge I'm planning to do a tube frame Drag Car...
  24. A fast picture I made, hope it does a justice. Thanks again for making this CBP so much fun and thanks all who voted for my Chrysler. Nice builds everyone.
  25. Congratulations Zenrat. I actually voted for that Chevy Panel Truck too. Congrats to Lunajammer too. Wow! I wouldn't believed that I would get the Third place . And thanks to all who voted for my Chrysler!
