  1. Watch out, soon she will be better Model Builder than daddy! Coupe turned out very nice. Can't believe that it really is her first build, much better than some of my older builds.
  2. Looks Good! Very nice to see that Modeling skills are moving for the next generation too. I've been teaching my little sister how to build models, and she has one '60 Impala on the bench too...
  3. Thanks Guys! I'd like to build a Replica of this: Not maybe 100% accurate copy, but pretty close one though. That car is nowadays here in Finland, and I think that's great!
  4. Is there a Resin Body or Resin Kit available of '32 Plymouth. I prefer Roadster, but Coupe can be turned into Roadster too. I know that there are few 1/32 scale kits, but I'd need one in 1/24 or 1/25 scale. If there are no resin conversions, maybe needs to make one from '32 Ford.
  5. Excellent Job as always, John! Detailing is super. What did you do for the rear tires, they look very realistic that way, much better than my tires, what are sanded with 400 grid sandpaper.
  6. This is very cool build! Can't wait to see how this one turns out, the subject couldn't be better.
  7. Great Job as always, John! Engine detailing looks super and chassis is very beautiful too. I'm amazed, as always when I open up your WIP thread...

    Baja Beast

Looks like great & Shiny build . Good color choice, that fits very nicely on that Volkswagen. Good Job all over.
  9. Of course it's your build, and you do what you want, and whatever you do, it will look good. I'm sure of it, your talents are great! But give it a try at some point, BMF is easy to use once you learn it, and it really makes the model much less toylike.
  10. Good Job on the Challenger. I like those body colored steelie wheels with Hubcaps. Nice and clean build over all. Only thing what is bit disturbing me, the engine looks too "Red". Maybe little black wash to all seams, like between the intake manifold and cylinder heads, would help? All in all, Nice build.
  11. You had to write this text, because no one can otherwise see, which one is Real and which one is Model? Once again, truly amazing build.
  12. Just curious, but why? It makes model looking much better with BMF applied than chrome trims painted silver. Chevy Pickup looks very good so far! Paint job on the fenders turned out great, and I'm sure that this is going to be amazing build.
  13. It has been pretty warm here in Finland too, but now it is raining and it's little colder than few days ago. I have to wait when the rain stops so I can go clearcoating DoubleDragster's Frame.
  14. Beautiful Fiat Altered! Color combo looks great, and I really like the engine setup. Those two motors just look "right" in front of that Little Fiat Body.
  15. Thanks, Bryan and Thom! That intake manifold is still in progress. Now when I'm sure that everything fits under the hood, I can do lots of finishing for that Big Block and then for example, the manifold will get some work to make it look right.
  16. You did excellent job with this Truck. Great subject, I like the 1:1. It looks very good to me. This Model sure looks like real, paint job is awesome and detailing is excellent too, as always. This just makes me speechless, GREAT job with this Truck! B)

    75 Cutlass

This needs 15" wheels with High profile tires. They would look very good on this, I just don't dig those big wheels.
  18. I like this one so much that I had to put my JoHan's Cuda box on the display cabinet.
  19. I've always used lighter, and it works very nicely. Give as less heat as possible, so the rod just bends. If you give too much heat, it will turn into black and smell bad. Today I used that method with these tubings of the Beretta Bracket Car.
  20. Heh, there are many WIP threads, since I have bit over 50 projects, and I'm trying to share those most interesting ones with you guys. Progress has been slow, but today I managed to solve my fit issue. Hood didn't fit nicely, and today I trimmed a little material off from the frame, so engine sits a bit lower now and everything fits under the hood. Next I have to build a bracket for the alternator, and belt too.
  21. Finally an Update... Not so much done today, but something anyway. I removed mold lines and other trash from the frame, and then I primered it. Primer dried fast so I managed to paint them too. Tomorrow I'm going to spray some Metal Flake- Clear on those parts. Also painted those spokes of front wheels, and glued them together. Rear Wheels are in the paint stripper, I'm removing the chrome plating so I can paint them Magnesium.
  22. Thanks for the kind comments! It has been a while since the latest update. But finally I managed to add some tubing for the front end. They are made from parts trees, but I can't glue them yet, I can glue them when everything is painted and ready to go together. On the pictures, parts are just mocked up together. And then I glued that little cross bar on place.
  23. Great work as always, Chris! Those brackets look awesome, it's nice to see that you are back on the bench.
  24. I got the body cleared. So far it looks pretty good and ready for decals and another coat of clear. But let's see again in the morning, when the paint is completely dry. I will post pictures when it's decaled and next clearcoat has been sprayed.
  25. Nice job with the Merc'! You did Awesome job, the starting point doesn't look too great to my eye, but finished product really does. Superb work! Is there a Model Kit or Resin kit available of this car? If not, this is VERY unique Model. And even if there is, it's very rare kit and this is unique anyway. How did you make the windows, and what material you used. Since that windshield looks like hard one to make, it's anything but square.
