  1. That might be, but if someone would have been in Berlin and visited in some of these shops. At Least I'm trying to find any information.
  2. Well I'm going to Berlin, Germany with my Family, and of course needs to visit in Model Shop(s). I searched from Google, and found three shops what had Model Cars, they are in pretty good place too. 1. The Shop: Berliner Zinnfiguren & Freussisches Bücherkabinett Adress: Knesebeckstr 88 Opening Hours: Monday-Friday 10 AM-6 PM. Saturday 10 AM-3 PM. 2. The Shop: Staufenbiel Berlin. Adress: Georgenstraße 24 Opening Hours: Monday-Friday 10 AM-7 PM. Saturday 10 AM-4 PM 3. The Shop: Tamico Adress: Richard Wagner Str 25 Opening Hours: Monday, Wednesday and Friday 3 PM-7 PM. Saturday 10 AM - 2 PM. So I'd like to get some help or information about these shops. When looking at their Web-Pages, it looks like the first one is the best shop. But if you have any information about this, please tell me. It would be greatly appreciated.
  3. Thanks, Daniel! Post pictures of your build too, sounds very good to me. Thanks, Corey. Now it feels like I need to get this off from my bench, and moved to "Display Case". Thanks to Darryl too! Detail work makes the model "Pop Out" and I think it's easy way to make these builds to look better. Little update too. I clearcoated the body yesterday. Luckily it went Okay. It's bit wet on the pictures, but that's what it will look when it's completely dry. Now needs to let it dry, and then polish it.
  4. Very nice build of great car. These Firebird were best looking Funny Cars on those days. You did great job with paint and details. Parts fit looks very good too.
  5. I'm planning to install the front suspension from AMT '67 Ford Mustang. It looks pretty close to AMX suspension. I haven't found those Front Axle parts anywhere, and I don't have money to buy a new kit right now. But that's what I'll be using. Inner Fenders will be built using again those Mustang parts as a Basis. I have those inner fenders, but haven't seen any front axles on my bench. I'm building the Sox&Martin Cuda too. I filled holes from the engine, and I'm not going to use that Metal Axle anymore. New front axle will be taken from Revell's '71 Cuda, which I have some where. It's true, engines and bodies are really nice in these kits. That's what keeps me going on these builds. Actually thanks for the Bump. Needs to get back on the AMX too. If I didn't explain good enough, feel free to ask more questions, and I'll try to answer them.
  6. Not Too Great, but.....
  7. One thing why I don't buy so much Convertible Model Kits is, that they can't be converted to Race Car so well as non-Convertibles. As well as they are not as Cool Customs etc. The subject must be very interesting if I buy Convertible cars, '57 Chevy would be very interesting.
  8. Thanks Roger! I'm going to use just simple and easy Maston Clear straight from Spray can. It has always worked fine for me with every decal job. Maybe some paints, you have in the USA are better, like HOK or something.
  9. Great job as always, Chris! The Mid Plate looks very good to me. Truly amazing.
  10. I finished the interior. Or at least it's almost there, I might still change those Simpson Logos of the Seat Belts, if I find decals somewhere. Tachometer is mechanical, I don't know if they were Mechanical or Electrical in 1968, but that fits nicely on the style of this car. And then I decaled the body. It felt like inpossible at some point, especially those big decals under Hemi Thunder textes were really hard to set right. They need some Micro Sol still, but otherwise I'm pretty much done with the body, of course it needs some clear and polishing next, but... Few More:
  11. WOW, that looks like a Train to me ! Good job with it, and neat concept. All modifications are very well done, looks like factory produced.
  12. Very cool looking project you have there! Old School Customs are great without any modern stuff and that's why I like them very much. Keep it going.
  13. Thanks for the great comments, John, Dave and Derrick! I just finished Foiling the body. It looks quite good now, actually. Next I'm going to add decals on, so I should have a picture update soon.
  14. This is Fantastic Glue Bomb Restore! I've always liked '68 Impala and it's a shame that they are expensive. Revell, would it be good idea to make one Model Kit of '68 Impala too ? You did good job with restoring the body. I don't understand the foil casting. Tried it once, or twice but both times I failed. How you guys do it? Good job with the paint too, and wheel choice is just right.
  15. The interior for my Camaro build is pretty much done. I wanted to keep it as simple as possible, bit like Sleeper style. No Roll Bar, no tachometer or other that kind of equipment. There might be still some cleanup and paint touches needed before I can install it, but otherwise it's done. I'm pretty happy about how it turned out.
  16. I started building the interior for my Pickup. Since the cab, and bed will be Gloss Black, I wanted to pick up a color what matches well with that. Well I've always liked the combination of Red & Black, so interior will be basically red. Even though I added some grey there too. That combination was tested on my Austin Mini build while ago, and it looked very good. Now I'm using the same color scheme on this interior. Now needs to get that dashboard painted.
  17. Excellent Stance on the Impala! This is great combination: It's Gasser and It has 409 Under The Hood! Great job on the paint too, color looks very nice. I like everything about it, but maybe front axle could be moved just a liiiiiitle bit forward. Very nice build, maybe the best one, I've seen from your bench.
  18. Thanks, Marty and Walter! The seatbelts are not correct, I know that, but this time I just wanted to keep it simple. Of course it wouldn't have been too big deal to rework that roll bar, as I did in my Nova build, but now I did it this way. Next time better. Now needs to get back on the Torino build. It's getting easier to make correct NHRA Stocker than with the Nova, since I have some experience of building 1:1 Scale Stock Eliminator Race Car too.
  19. Nova looks Great! Very good job with that paint job, very shiny and smooth. I also like the color with that Vinyl Top. Detailing is super, as always. Great job again.
  20. That's cool and funny! You did very good job with this one, everything looks very sharp and well done. Very good idea too, thanks for sharing the WIP too, I've always enjoyed your Work In Progress-topics, but my favorite is still the Nader's Nightmare, that was extremely cool.
  21. That 250 SWB is one of my favorite Ferrari-cars, ever produced. Your build looks super clean, and very well finished. Paint job is excellent. Are those wheel Photo Etched parts, they look like it? Good job with the new Ferrari too, but to me that 250 SWB just pops out.
  22. Getting better with each update! Now I can follow your steps when detailing my TwinTurbo Chevelle engine, even if it's not going to be this high quality. Great job.
  23. I painted the body and Belly Pan yesterday from inside, since the weather was good. The color is Green, it just fits nicely on this kind of Dragster. Hopefully I can get outside of body painted today. The frame is waiting for parts. I need some 6-Angled plastic tubing to make these fittings. Of course they are available in Photo Etched parts, but they are more expensive for my budget. And here's the picture of Body and Belly Pan.
  24. Great Detailing on the engine! Body looks very good too, I can't wait to see more of your incredible work.
  25. Many, Many projects on the bench, but for example this one: Sorry about the old pics, but new ones are still in my Camera.
