  1. I tried this style for my '70 Dodge SuperBee build, and it worked nicely. It's very simple and easy, just paint the headlight area white, and then start removing the paint a bit from the center of the headlight, so you can see a bit of chrome plating behind the white paint. It looks pretty realistic actually, and even I managed to do it.
  2. Sorry about the Bad pictures, best I could do on this Rainy & Dark Day.
  3. Thanks for the kind words, Wayne and Bill. Those rear slicks look pretty good to me, but they need pretty much sanding before they can be installed. Motor Tool would help of course, but I realized it too late. Little update, I painted the roll bar Gloss Black. Those "Canvas" parts or whatever they are called, are painted SemiGloss Black. Fire Extinguisher is painted with Tamiya's acrylic paint, the decal is from this kit. Then I installed the roll bar in place and shifter too. Also the chassis is on four wheels now. It's not my best but still Okay. It needs some finishing, though. This is how dashboard looks right now:
  4. Both Look Great! Nice paint jobs and excellent decals. Looking forward for more.
  5. VERY Cool HotRod, just my style. Paint looks good to me and I like those chromed parts. They just look "right" on that. This is really Old School, thanks for sharing. Oh, and pictures look very good, too.
  6. This is great project! Four Door car is as good basis for Custom as Two Door. What you did on the rear fenders is great. This is going to be good looking build.
  7. Excellent Build as always, Cruz! That paint job is impressive and chrome parts look very realistic to me. Good Job!
  8. Looks Good, I've always liked Grand Nationals. Your build is totally awesome, even if I really don't like the wheels. But otherwise, paintjob and detailing are superb. Something Like This, maybe?
  9. This will be very nice build. I'm interested to see how you are going to replicate that Aluminium Look.
  10. Great Job, it was fun to watch this one to come together and you did awesome job with the finishing. Paint Job is almost perfect and I like the details too.
  11. Yes, it looks very good so far! Gasser / Street Freak / Whatever that kind of style fits to almost any car. Good job with the rear wheel openings. I can't wait to see more.
  12. I was guessing that it's Italian, but that was the best information, I could guess or find. I would never thought that it's a Fiat.
  13. My Favorite Genre is Drag Racing Models. It doesn't matter if they are new or Modern Drag Racing Cars, as they usually don't have too big wheels, or new LS engines. But after Drag Racing, I would say Muscle Cars/StreetMachines Old School style, modern cars with big wheels and new "plastic engines" are not for me.
  14. Okay, these cars are from Finland. Can't pick just one, but here are few: Street Cars
  15. Thanks, Ray! The paint is made by Maston, and color code is 803. I don't know if you have Maston paints in USA, but here in Finland they are pretty easy to get, and they work well, too.
  16. There's nothing like Fresh paint job ! I started by taping the top, it will be painted white later on. And here's the body with some blue on it, looks pretty good. In the picture, the paint is wet and it is not going to be that glossy when it's dry, but clearcoat and polishing will help.
  17. Yep, it might be easier like that. But I'll do the blue first, some how it's just my style and I'm used to it. For Example I painted red first on this '55 Chevy (1/32 Scale though) and then the white. Don't know why I do it this way but it works okay, though.
  18. Thanks for the help! My favorite style of Drag Radials is that Hoosier tire, luckily it's the easier one. Needs to try what I can do with the saw, I was going to order in just a couple of days. I know thoe Ma's Resin tires, but other Finnish Modeler ordered some parts from there. After four months, no one has answered to his order... That's why I guess I need to make my own. Patrick's link is very interesting too. But the problem with that is the grooves, they are not looking like real Drag Radials. Otherwise very good looking tires.
  19. My workbench is in corner, next to two large windows. Usually I need only the "Natural Light", but if it's dark day or night time, I have one desk lamp, which is pretty good.
  20. Do you mean Factory Stock cars, or can they be modified, too?
  21. How could I make my own Drag Radialsin 1/25 Scale? I've been wondering this for a long time, but never realized, how I could do it. I'm wanting to have This: OR This: Style Drag Radials.
