  1. Good Job with the wheelie bars, Bart! This ProMod Camaro is gonna look awesome when finished. I guess it's time to pick up my jaw from the floor.
  2. Got The Moebius Models' Chrysler 300 Stock Car On The Bench And As A Side Project, I'm Working On The Hudson Hornet...

  3. Great job as usual. Detailing on that.... On those engines is great and that paint scheme looks very good to me. Action photos look incredible. Oh, How did you make those textes to rear tires?
  4. This looks very good too. Detailing is amazing, and nice, clean build overall.
  5. Detailing on that Challenger is truly amazing! Looks like every sigle pipe, hose and wire is on its place and engine is functional. Paint job looks very good too. Nice build and Welcome Back!
  6. This turned out very nice Show Truck! The style is just correct, not too modern Truck with all today's "goodies". I like the color on it, and those Whitewall Slicks look very good on this one. I like the wheels too. Engine detailing looks super, where did you get those injector stacks from?
  7. Nice build as usual! Nice detailing all over, paintjob looks very good too. This is clean one.
  8. What color I should paint the chassis? Somekind of primer and white overspray combination, or just flat black as the instructions say? Since some other Mopars have oversprays on the chassis, I'm not sure about this one. And one question about the interior too. Should I fill that seam what came when I glued the bench seat parts together, or does real 300 Chrysler have somekind of seam on that place?
  9. You don't have to drill a single hole to each spark plug wire. Drill one bigger hole on the center. Much easier and finished result is pretty much the same. And I can say that it's just practising.
  10. When talking about different technigues, I've been using a pencil to make panel lines bit darker. Of course before I primer the body, I scribe those lines bit deeper. And after the body is painted, clearcoated and polished, I will make those panel lines darker with a sharp pencil. Simple and easy, looks pretty good to me.
  11. Very nice Super Stocker Plymouth! Looks like clean build overall, parts fit to each other etc. Paint scheme is looking good too, and love the look of Centerlines on this kind of Drag Car, not always Weld DragStars.
  12. Thanks For the information, Jacen! So they really were Stock cars. Yes, I will flock my Flock car .
  13. How did you make the asphalt for Drag Strip? I'd like to build one Drag Strip too, but don't know how to make the asphalt.
  14. Sometimes, yes, the mold seams are in correct places, where real car has them. But as Aaron said, usually they need to go.
  15. Thanks, Richard and Bill! So far I've been working without any drawings, but next I have to make drawings so I can continue building the frame. Also Tim Flock Chrysler arrived yesterday, that's slowing me down with this one too.
  16. I just started building Moebius Models' Tim Flock Chrysler, and I have one question so far about it. I'm trying to make a Period Correct car, of course. I might have more questions later too, but first I need to find an answer to this: Did these Stock Cars have a carpet back in the day? So should I flock it or just paint it black, as the instructions say.
  17. Nice job on both of them. I like the wheel and tire choice of thaty Daytona and paintjob looks good too. Along with BMF and few small details, I'd like to see some black washing for the panel lines. Duster looks very good too, I like the color.
  18. Yes, of course. But why someone would build very nice and clean model car, but leave those things without any attention, even if he/she saw them already? They just don't look good.
  19. I'm with Andy. I don't usually use modern parts, like modern engines, or wheels. YUCK. On Drag Racing car, I might use Electric Fan, or Disk Brakes, just because everyone uses them in real life, but otherwise I don't find use for them. And all of the spare bodies what can't be built into Factory Stock (for example), will be converted to Drag Cars.
  20. I can say that removing those mold seams, flash etc. is good and easy way to improve the model, you're building. Real car doesn't have mold seams or other stuff like that. It may be bit boring to smooth them out, but finished product sure is worth that. I know that I've done mistakes and I've left those mold seams etc on their place too, but on the last few years, I've been removing them as good as I can. Those seams etc give unrealistic look on builds, even if the model car would be built well, but those little things "Hit To The Eye". Along with good paintjob, nice detailing and clean building, filling ejector pin marks, smoothing out Mold Seams and Mold Flash, is very good and easy way to get that model look better. I highly recommend to give it a try.
  21. The most interesting kit for 2012 so far, arrived to Finland.
  22. HERE IT IS!!!!! I've been waiting this one for long time, and now I have it on my hands. Beautiful kit with lots of good quality parts. Especially I like the chrome parts, they are one of the bests, I've ever seen. Huge thanks to Moebius Models, you've made two cars, what I've been dreaming to have as models. The Hudson was incredible, and so does this one too. Can't wait to start building, tomorrow I will start it, since summer vacation begins too.
  23. What, am I the first one who got it right? I started searching from Google with "Streamline Bus" and then after few more searches, I managed to find what it really is. Pretty cool car anyway.
  24. I'm in trouble with the Camaro. Paint has been removed from the body and chassis, and they are in bit bad condition. I knew it already, but I didn't guess that the problem was this bad. When I mocked up the chassis, everything went okay, but when I unassembled the chassis and body, this happened:
  25. Thanks, Richard, Kane and Billy ! Not a big update, but few tubes are added again. On the last update, I made those tubings to the sides of that frame, and now I made "X - Members" there. Not the easiest thing to do, but turned out OK. Next step is building the rear frame, that will be maybe the hardest thing in the whole frame I guess.
