  1. This is now finished. Started out as a Glue Bomb. Some engine detailing and black wash for it, and also some detailing on the chassis and interior. Engine is painted orange of course, and details are mostly Scale Dreams' stuff, or scratchbuilt. Body is painted red and it has a bit polishing, but not too much. It could be better, but I like it like that. BMF and rear window is acetate. Nothing special about the final assembly, added some details and kit went together nicely. Full WIP can be found here. http://www.modelcarsmag.com/forums/index.php?showtopic=43717&st=0&p=459690&hl= More pics.
  2. Super Bee is now finished, and here comes the last set of WIP pictures. HUGE thanks, to everyone, who has took time to view, and post comments to this topic. THANK YOU!!! And here are the pictures: Hood is completed... Washer wiper motor is installed, it's close enough, I think. I installed rear shocks... And complete taillight panel, as good as I could get... I'll post finished pictures in Under Glass soon. Thanks.
  3. Here it is! This is something, I've been dreaming for long time, and now it is finally here, on my hands... I think, I must take a saw and file and bondo on my table, and start working on it. So '76 Monza 2+2. I'll build it as a Street Machine, but I'm going to let it be Monza, not going to convert it to '79 Skyhawk yet, because I must have one Monza too... Luckily those awfull custom- parts are just an option.
  4. Thanks, Andy and Roger. Prescription bottle, what is that? (my bad english...) The rear wheel tubs are next step on the chassis, after I've done those, I can continue with some test fitting, and maybe more cutting if needed.
  5. Buick GN, and GNX are really nice cars. Regal is nice too. Your model looks just like real thing, paintjob is very good and I like the interior details. Is that Shotgun there? Nice job again, keep these great models coming.
  6. Primer coat is now painted to the engine. It needed pretty much sanding before that primer, but now I can see how much it needs bondo and sanding. And it needs some more work, of course.
  7. Thanks, Jeff! The progress has been quite slow, but I've sanded the engine. It's still in rought stages, but hope these two pictures help to see, where I'm at. It needs still some sanding, but maybe today, or tomorrow I can paint one primer coat on it, and then I can see how many mistakes there are and what to do with them. Frontend of that engine is the worst part, which needs lots of sanding.
  8. This should be more interesting kit, than the normal HT version, I have. But maybe that doesn't matter so much, because I could saw this kit chassis also. Maybe needs to get this kit too, but let's see after some years when I've finished the Pro Street Falcon...
  9. This is looking really good so far. You've made really good job with aluminium, and those seatbelts are looking very realistic too. Can't wait to see more work with this. Gas pedal looks nice too, nothing to complaine about.
  10. Thanks, Eric! That's amazing how to, great link. That makes sure, that next time, I go to shop where I can find Future, I'll buy it.
  11. Not yet, not yet, but soon... It's now on post's hands, this week, It'll be here, I guess.
  12. Clean build,as always, Roger. I like the paintjob on it, and decals look very good too. Engine detailing is amazing, and I like the overall look, it's really realistic. Keep these coming.
  13. This is really cool! I shouldn't be worried about the hood fit, mostly it will be with the hood open? Color looks good, and paintjob is smooth. Like the engine detailing, and interior looks good too. Those opened side windows are great idea, and they are done really nicely. I like the real thing too, something like Corvette, but it's a Pontiac. That should be different. I did enjoy following the WIP topic, and finished result looks good. Keep coming.
  14. Thanks, Cliff, that picture helps. I just found one too, so maybe I'll build that part with those pics. Thanks. And thank you, Rich! White stripe fits better than black one with red, I think. I know, that the white primer should make the color bit lighter, now it's bit dark as you said, but I like this shade of red better. This is just correct color for '70 Super Bee, I think. Thanks both, there might be update coming in next couple of days.
  15. This one is looking amazing! I love the detail work, you've done for it. I like the interior very much. Pedals are looking good. This is going to be very great model, it looks just like real car right now already.
  16. Little update to RS V8 Corvette. I put some putty to the body, and now it's getting closer to primering, but there's still lots of sanding left. Some chassis work also is coming ahead. How about the other projects, I'd like to see some progress of them too...?

You can find Decals By Lucas here: http://decalsbylucas.com/ Also Modelexpress.net is selling some of decals from Lucas, but I think, that website is having all of them maybe. But they seem to be good quality, I've one set of them, but haven't tried them yet.
  18. Thanks, Tyrone! And thanks, Cliff! And that red line on taillight panel is a good note, I'll paint that one. I have one clear red paint, and that will work fine, I think. Now needs to find some reference shots from that wiper motor too. Thanks, both!
  19. Thanks, Mark, Brodie and Joe! The wiper motor is still missing, I haven't find one from my parts box, maybe I must scratchbuilt one. Also there are still lots of little things to do... Little update. I glued the lower front panel on its place. (what is that part name in english....?) Also grille is glued on its place. I detail painted the taillight panel too. Next step is building the wiper motor, and installing shocks. Hope I can finish this one soon...
  20. Thanks, Richard! Now I haven't found any dashboards for that Rat Rod. But I'm going to build it from styrene, then I can make it look like what I want. Also front axle needs to be built and also some other things to do before getting it on all four wheels, and close to finish.
  21. That chainsaw looks amazing! Very nicely built, and how small it really is! Car looks good too, I like the weathering you've done for it, and that all stuff on its bed is looking good too.
  22. Amazing how realistic it looks. That weathering is done very nicely, and great to see these Farm Trucks here. Engine looks nice too from what I can see. Also I like that wooden bed, it looks realistic too. Nice job with it.
  23. Hello, and welcome to the board! Great to see new members who like to build American Cars. Greetings from Finland, good to see more European people here on MCM.
  24. As Bill said, there's a five picture limit. But of course you can make a new post and post more pics there. The Del Ray looks good, colors look very nice and paintjob is smooth. Wheels and tires are perfect choice for this build and I like the overall look. Interior is nice too. Keep building!
  25. That's looking great. Good to see '61 Impalas being built like Pro Street style. The paintjob on this one looks good, and color is really nice. I like it. Engine looks very good too. Nothing to complaine...
