  1. Nicely done, but I'm not a fan of those wheels and tires. Otherwise really great build, with no big mistakes. Paint looks very good, and engine detailing is great. Were are those Midwest Auto Parts decals from?
  2. Really Cool as always!!! I like the paintjob of it, and colors look good. Interior detailing is also super. But that engine is simply looking like 1:1. Every pipe, hose or wire are on their place. Is that engine running yet? Wheels and tires are looking very realistic, with that little weathering on them. Also I like the stance of it. Really cool, nothing to complaine, amazing job again, John!
  3. Thanks for the feedback, Jim and Virgil! Next I have some other projects for polishing, like '57 Chevy, '70 Super Bee and '51 Chevy... Hope they turn out good too.
  4. Thanks! Now I can't continue this, or any other build before friday, because i'm going to Lapland. But maybe friday I can get '70 Super Bee or '57 Bel Air polished... Hopefully. This project needs also new headers and some sanding on the wheel wells...
  5. Wow. Colors are looking good. Paintjob is nice too, as usual... I like the engine detailing too, it's simply amazing. It's going to be real nice model again from your bench. Can't wait to see more of your work.
  6. This is looking really good! Your talents are amazing, when watching your finished builds. I like the job, you've done with the windshield frame. Color looks very good too, keep it going, I can't wait to see more work of it.
  7. Thanks, Cliff! I'm pretty happy about the end result too. I used Motip Acryl paint, straight from the spray can. It's painted long time ago. I cleared it with Motip's Acryl clear and it has been drying few months now. And just few hours ago got it polished...
  8. Just tried polishing for '56 Chevy Bel Air StreetRace project. It came out pretty good, maybe next time I can get better result, just because this paintjob wasn't so good. Anyway, this project is coming really slowly, so I'm not going to post more pics, if you guys don't order me to post them. Well, there comes now bit of a break to my postings, next week I'm not home, but tomorrow I can post pics, or some other things, if I must. Used Auto Glym Super Resin Polish.
  9. Yes, for me it's a link. I've never figured out, how to post video other way, than a link so I can't help. But yes, it's only a link now...
  10. Finally got it right! Next time also... Hopefully.
  11. This is cool! Paint is looking great, and it's very clean build. Can't wait to see those other ones finished, especially Studebaker is interesting. This '57 Chevy looks very good too, and so does the Mustang.
  12. This Merc' turned out real nice! I like the color on it, and decals are fitting nicely. Engine detailing looks good too. It's simply awesome build. Rearend looks good too. Great to see '49 Mercurys which aren't all built Customs...
  13. Great job you did with it! Color is nice, and paintjob looks good! Engine detailing is also very cool, all of the wires are going nicely and they look realistic. It's great build, and great subject. I'd be very happy about it.
  14. Clean build! That is a great kit of Corvette! I have two of them on project, other is going to be factory stock, but other one is going to be bit like factory's Prototype with '57 Corvette's top... But this one looks real nice build, paintjob is great and colors are great. I like the engine too. Interior is sharp, there is nothing to complaine about, nice model.
  15. Maybe you must scratchbuild the manifold and install the blower there. I'm having one Ford Pickup Gasser WIP, and it's going to have this powerplant.
  16. Thanks, Robert for that info! It's great to hear that there's a solution to that problem too. Future is something, I must get. SOON! Well, it's coming a little break to building after saturday, but after that I'll buy Future and try it.
  17. Paintjob looks amazing! I can't remember when I've seen that nice paintjob. It's going to be very interesting build, X-Frame Chevrolets are really great, can't wait to see more work of it.
  18. Wow, looking awesome! I like the color on it, and paintjob is really great. Very smooth. Decals are nice also. Like it, keep coming. These Drag Racers are always really nice to watch.
  19. Your build looks great! I like those colors, blue fits nicely to the frontend of that car. Engine looks good too, detailing is great. But pictures are bit blurry... I might suggest using super macro setting of your camera. It's a little flower in some button. That will work fine, and with it it's easy to take sharp pictures.... But those pics aren't the worts ones, I've seen anyway. (and that wasn't an personal attack )
  20. If it's Pro Mod, it's very interesting. If it's Pro Street, it's very interesting too. But if it is Pro touring, then it's... Well, not so interesting... But nice project anyway, kitbashing is fun! Keep going.
  21. I don't have that yet, but I must get something like that soon. I think, I can find it from local hobby shop, and that's really great.
  22. I agree 100% with Mike! It doesn't make any sense to say, how many likes, when you don't know, how many people don't like it. You can't compare them, and that's bad.
  23. Not much done, but something anyway... I sanded the top of the dash smooth (where I put some bondo). Then I painted it with semi-gloss black. The wooden part needs to be still cleared with orange clear and there's some other adjustments left to do on it. Tomorrow I'll finally paint engine bay parts red, if the weather is good. Hope to have this finished maybe next week....
  24. Thanks, Jim! Chris, Thanks for the nice words. And It would be great to see pics of that, hope you find them somewhere. Today I put some bondo to the engine. Now some sanding next, and then maybe more bondo. It's bit rough, even if it is good mold (for me, I'm still practicing...). I'm also trying to find material for the wheel wells on the rear end...
  25. The best way to smooth those brush strokes would be maybe polishing... If you don't have a polishing kit, maybe some wax which polishes at the same time, would work fine too... And about the wetsanding, do you mean that it needs to be wetsanded smooth for new paint coat? I've heard that some builders shoot some clear to the body, and then they wetsand with very fine paper and then some more clear. But I'm not a professional on this, maybe someone else can say better. Those are just my ideas...
