  1. That's very nice that Vega is very rarely seen model car.. Paintjob looks cool and detailing is very nice. Like it a lot. That frame is looking good. There is no any mistakes. Thank you for sharing this one.
  2. It's nice to see someone building something stock! Looking very good, nice paintjob, that wooden bed looks cool and that engine is looking very good. Like it, nice details all over and what I can see from that interior picture, it looks good too.
  3. Nice models! This would be nice to see built like diorama. You know, what I mean? But those models are looking very good!
  4. Oh yes, it's very nice. Ugly wheels but otherwise very good looking Gremlin. This is something you can't see every day. Paintjob looks very good, that detailing looks very nice. Pictures from engine or interior?
  5. WOW! That's very nice model, it's very big conversion. Paintjob looks good, engine detailing is amazing and that is very good idea for that new Camaro. I'm not a fan of these but this one is very very nice. Thank you for sharing it!
  6. That's looking good. I like that colour on it and paintjob looks great! Goos job with all those details on the engine and interior looks very good too! It's nice to see this finished. I was looking for that WIP topic, it was great! Thank you for sharing this one!
  7. Thanks, Len! This is great kit! I'm not going to build it box stock, I must enter some details there... Now it has been other things, like 1:1 car, it takes lots of time from these, but I try to continue this one pretty soon.
  8. Thank you, rustybill! Now I have done some more body work, but I can't spray primer on before I get some material for taillights...
  9. Looking good so far. Put those normal size wheels, those big ones are looking ugly, I think. It looks much better with those normal wheels... I'll be watching this project for sure.
  10. I got this for free while back. It's Monogram's '57 Chevy Bel Air with 283'' SBC. I'm building it like 70's Hot Rod style so I put rear end high and frontend will be quite low... Then it looks right. Wheels are going to be those, came with the kit; 5 spoke chrome wheels with Good Year tires. I'm not sure, am I building it to BoxStock or am I adding some details to it. This Monogram kit is not so great that I can build it box stock too but still I'm not sure... Fuel Injection system is good for this and some speed/custom parts. Lots of chrome will added to this. Body is painted with Revell enamel #30 red. It's painted by Badger 250 Spray gun. That's very good spray gun, I think and it's quite easy to use... There is NO polishing, clear or something. It's just waxed. Thank you for looking, comments welcome! Interior is painted by Revell red and white. I used no tape to help the paining progress, so I have to make it a little better yet... Front seat is now painted by red but it need just more white... Chassis is first painted by Revell mattblack, then I painted the frame gloss black, then exhaust pipes by Revell silver. No tape used with this either... Everything was molded to one piece, that's very stupid, I think. This system was molded to one part too. It wasn't so tricky to paint but it would be better... Continues soon, hopefully...
  11. Yes, there is waiting few hours in Frankfurt (two hours or something like that...)
  12. Wow, very good looking Satellite! Big conversion behind and it's very nicely done! Lots of sanding... Good job with it. I'm a fan of 4D cars in this scale, in 1:1 it must be 2 door... Nice paintjob on it, great detailing and of course it looks like Satellite. Home made is home made! Great, I like it very much. Thank you for sharing it!
  13. So we are coming to Orlando in February 10th to 19th 2011. But our flight leaves from HelsinkiVantaa airport at February 10th and we are back home at February 19th. I can't wait to get there! Only one bad thing: it's 16 hours flight with one plane change at Frankfurt...
  14. Very nicely detailed! Like these Funny Cars a lot and this one looks very good. That paintjob and those decals are very nice ones, and that frame looks very good too, detailing is very nice as I said... There is no things to complaine. Very nice job with this, thank you for sharing!
  15. Thank you, for the comments guys! Yes that taillight needs a little of fine sandpaper for a shiney finish. That's very simple job, but it's quite hard to make same looking lights... I can't remember right now, when I'm coming to Orlando, Florida but I post the date later today. This one is not very far from first primer coat, but then it needs lots and lots of more sanding so that's not the final primer coat. I modified those headlight visors a little better. Now they are fitting better to this smooth look, I think... Here is a picture to you. Better? I think so but what you think...?
  16. Wow, I feel sometimes when I'm watching this Drag Racing Models- section that I'm in Funny Car museum. Your builds are always very nice, this one is awesome too! Like that great detailing all over, paintjob looks very cool and those decals are looking like "painted on". That's good, very nice job with this (as always) and I can't wait to see more of your builds.
  17. Nice build, great paintjob and those flames are looking very good on it. That detailing looks good too and so on. Everything is very nicely done, thank you for sharing this very good looking build.
  18. Yes, of course. But that engine isn't looking right to my eye still. I read those every time, when I see a new topic or just new other stuff... That's not a misteke from Chris, I didn't mean that if you understand it like that. Not a mistake.
  19. That's very good looking! I'm building Bonneville Racer from '32 Ford and that's fun project. Your is looking very nice and that engine detailing is perfect. Nice paintjob very smooth and shiney and that's perfect choice for wheels and tires of course. Nice job!
  20. It's easy: Take a piece of that rail, where are the parts when you buy a kit from a shop. You know? What is the name of it...? Have no idea. But that rail, where are those parts fastened. But you must take clear red rail, where are taillights fastened or only clear is good too. Then put it to driller. Now I mean that kind of driller, which is bolted to table. Then you must take a file and it's just like lating wood... Understand? I can post pictures if you don't understand my bad enghlish but I'm trying to write as good as I can. I have a wordbook, but there is no all of the words. But that's my way of building them, it's easy and saves money.
  21. Nice project, can't wait to see more! That is great body style. Those AMT rear slicks are looking very good on it. Those wheels are very nice ones too... This kit is "must have" but it's quite expensive, I think... But yours is looking very very good, keep it going!
  22. This is going to be very nice! I like that you are not building pro touring, as very often people build pro tourings from this car. It's one of my favourite Mopars and your progress looks very good. That detailing is amazing!
  23. Thank you, Derrick! Yes, those heads were put upside down, but now they are correctly, I fixed my fail yesterday...
  24. That's very good idea! Frenching is a bit hard right now... Or well, it's possible... Thank you for that idea. I can make those taillight myself...
  25. Here is a little update to you guys! After that last body work update I have sanded and put more bondo to this about five times... Now it looks pretty good, but still there is lots and lots of work to do. That diving board is quite good right now. Frontend of the car is not so good but I try to make it better. Those headlight visors are not good looking, I mean there is still room for more bondo and styrene. I made a little plastic piece to that firewall also, because now it looks quite smooth and that's very good when building customs. I must fill those holes, wich are for hood hinge. Underside of the body is not so good, I must put some more bondo to there too and there are very many things to do, as I said. But here are the pictures to you... Now I would like to hear some comments and specially it would be nice to hear any ideas for the body. I mean, all ideas are welcome, and taillights, I'm not sure what kind of lights I put there so throw any ideas to me...
