I've been following this one, now I have to say, it looks very good! I can't wait to see it finished. This is just good looking hot rod, you got some great talents also... That tie rod looks awesome, great scratchbuilding there! I like that rust on it. Great job all the way with this.

This is cool... I like that colour, satin colours are not my favourite, but this looks good. Nice wheel and tire choice, this one is very great looking Merc'. That engine looks good too. I like that Merucry Parking Only sign, I have that AMT kit, where it comes. Nice build, I like it.

Mee too! But I think, that's the easiest way to do this job. I have a carpet to the floor, that's why it's so bad looking... Body work is not so funny either, I don't like sanding these parts very much... But this continues! EDIT: I posted pictures from the starting point to my first post, because I noticed, they were not there...

Slowly but surely... Today I tried to sand out some rude shapes to this... Usually I use sanding papers from 400 to 2000, they are quite good, but right now, I used 120 sandpaper. It's very rough, but I think, it's pretty good for this "shaping"... I sanded as much bondo as I can, then I put some MMD's "Greeen Putty" to the diving board, because that bondo (two component is so heavy stuff, it was good to use Green Putty with fingers... Then I let it dry and after that I put some more bondo to it and now it looks pretty good. It's now in that kind of situation that I can spray the first primer coat on it quite soon... Now I just must take that 400 sandpaper and make that thing smooth... Interior is quite bad, it has been upholstered sometime and there were still some heavy glue and fur all around. I removed them, some Green Putty, because I want it to bee smooth... Now, here are the pictures for you... Now I have a new '56 Chevy Custom coming. It will be sectioned and so on. Feel free for comments, as always, I try to continue this one soon, but let's see when next update comes...

That engine detailing is totally awesome!!! Very good job with it, that Cadillac body is something very rare in drag racing so great points for that choice... Where is that body from, I have never seen model kit from that kind of caddy. Resin? It doesn't look like resin...

I like those Full Moons too, this Pickup looks very good also. Colour is perfect, and that paintjob looks awesome. Have you painted those scalloops...? Engine looks good too, flathead is just perfect choice to this one and white wall tires are looking good too. Thank you for sharing!

Nice project, Corvette drag car is something you can't see every day... Yours is looking very good and that paintjob is looking awesome! Great! Don't really know, how those tires fit to the car, but I prefer those Pegasus ones... Thank you for sharing this, I like it very much.

Yes, I know, it's very hard to get picture from interior... It's hard with unchopped car and with this... But that engine looks very good, I like those valve covers alot, no plug wires= doesn't matter, when other model is this nice. Thank you for sharing this one!

Wow, that weathering looks very good! First when I read that "Look what's under the hood", I thought that there is somekind of big block engine with twin turbo or something. When I saw that "six shooter" engine, I was suprised... But anyways, nice Mustang, I like that paintjob, it's something you see very rarely, stock Mustang! But engine detailing looks very good, this is so clean build, and that diorama looks awesome with all those nice cars. Thank you for sharing this!

W-409 replied to a topic in WIP: Model Trucks: Pickups, Vans, SUVs, Light Commercial
This is very good looking Chevy truck! I like that paint, it's very good and colour looks good too. Perfect choice for wheels and tires, I like all those little details. Engine detailing looks very good too, but now it's a little "boring". I mean it looks like made from one piece... That doesn't matter anyways, because other model is so nice, that engine is just a little thing, keep on building, Chevy looks awesome, specially I like that wooden bead. -
That's really clean model, I mean, it's built very very nicely, can't find any mistakes from it. Paintjob looks very great, smooth and shiney, I like this build very much, it's looking like 1:1 car so much... But can you post pictures from engine or interior, I would like to see them. Nice Mercury!

Congrats, very nice models, I'm not suprised winning with those models! Nice prices, that's nothing like what's here in Finland, we have just trophys or medals... But great job with those models!

Wow, that's looking very good. That paintjob looks good, awesome decals and engine looks very good too! Those injector tubes are looking great, from what they are made? Nice detailing, keep these great looking models coming!

Great looking build! Like these Funny Cars a lot. This paintjob looks very cool, decals are nice and engine looks very nice too... Detailing is awesome, there are lots of very nice looking details! Frame looks good too, keep these coming...

AWESOME looking Pick Up Hot Rod! This is nice old school styled hot rod, just my style! Great. Paintjob is amazing, colour is perfect choice to this one, engine looks very good too, great detailing, those headers are just perfect choice to this build... I like the stance of this, tires and wheels are perfect, those black steelies are looking good! Interior looks good too, this build is totally awesome! Keep on building these hot rods. I have one '29 Ford Pick Up. It's waiting for slicks to the back, I'm building it like "this could ran on the fifties on drag strip". I have to do lots of modifications to it, but maybe I start it someday, when I get those tires to it. I'm building '32 Bonneville Racer Ford also, with flat four engine of course. But anyways, yours looks very great!
-
This is going to be sweet! That engine looks very good and frame and chassis are very good looking also! I like the stance of this build, engine detailing looks good too, so far. Keep up the good work!

What is the kit, this is built from? Looks good, like that paintjob, it's very nice and those wheels and tires are looking very good on this car. This is very nice car in 1:1, your model looks good too, thank you for sharing this one! Pictures from engine or interior...? Looks good!

Ok, then I say nothing from it... But very nice job with this, paintjob looks good, I'm not a great fan of Lowriders but this looks very good! Aby pictures from interior or engine..? But anyways, it looks very good to me!
