Thank you, John. This is going slowly but have lots of things to do with this...

This is very nice model again! But how did you make those hooks to those things, holding that hood in place? And you can open the hood still! Is that not so tight that you can take that thing off from that hook on the hood and then the hood opens...? Or what. Have that Black Widow and need some information...

Keeling & Clayton F/E and R/E Top Fuel Dragster
W-409 replied to John Teresi's topic in WIP: Drag Racing Models
I love building these Vintage drag cars! Ok, I bought this: It's that Ramchargers dragster from MPC. This time I'm building Pontiac FC, Airfix "Burnout Bird". Link for pictures:Pictures Your models are looking awesome! -
More to come... Today I drilled the holes for taillights, I rolled the bit with my hands. When there were a small hole, I sawed holes bigger, as those taillights... Then just some finishing and it looks pretty good. I've been thinking of Toyota Corolla DX taillights for basis of this... Let's see... Feel free for comments...

Sorry, but now I have reached somekind of limit in photobucket and no one can't see my pictures for a while. I think, you can see them again in the end of the month, when I get more space to photobucket. I just made another photobucket and I can post pictures from there now, but if I post these pictures again, I reach the limit again and then pictures are again like this. Sorry about this but I tried to do everything but now just have to wait...

This is awesome. Like Altered wheel base cars and that GTX is very good for this. Like that look, stance is nice and paintjob is very smooth. That engine looks good too, great detailing and somehow it looks just right. Thank you for sharing this..

AMAZING!!! These are looking very good, paintjob is perfect and detailing is super as always. Nothing to complaine. I just made an order to the USA, i found one of my dream model kits, it's A/Fuel FED. -
Those all are very nice, but specially I like that first one, '58 Plymouth. Thank you for sharing these!

Thank you, Jim. Today I have done plug wires to engine. They are not made from Detail Master's aftermarket stuff, because you can't see them so well. But you can see them so I made them... They were not so easy but finished product is quite good... But anyhow, here are the pictures to you guys! Feel free for comments...

Right now I have a problem. I bought Nascar wheels and tires for this one, but they don't fit to this car... They are too wide. Now I have to find a new tires and wheels, because to get those wheels in, I should make new wheel wells and make big modifications to the frame also... Front suspension modifications and so on. That means that, I find other wheels and tires and put them to this. But I can't continue building before I get those new tires and wheels.

This one looks cool! I'm not a great fan of those Nascars with they drive today, but these bit older ones are looking good to me... This one has very good paintjob and those decals are fitting very nicely to the body shapes. I have to build todays Nascar some day... -
Rex White 58 Chevy
W-409 replied to MarkJ's topic in WIP: Stock Cars (NASCAR, Super Stock, Late Model, etc.)
It's just very sad that here are no Nascar speedways here... Sometime I have to come and watch Daytona 500 race to the USA... I have that '57 Chevy "Black Widow" on the work bench section, that will of course be oval track racer, as my '72 Ford Torino... But your model looks awesome! -

This is AWEOME and perfect!!!! Haven't seen this before, but it looks very cool. That paintjob is perfect and decals are very nicely in place. Engine looks good and nice to see 348" under the hood. Idea is very very good, I've never seen before '58 Impala NASCAR racer... This is just very very cool. Keep these great models coming. -
Those Gulf colours fit to Mustang perfetly! Good paintjob and engine detailing looks very cool too. Great choice for tires and wheels. Chassis looks very good too, but have you any pitures from the interior...? I'd like to see it...

I'm not a great fan of pink, specially on the car. I'm not a fan of matt or semigloss colours either, but this one looks very good! That '50 Pontiac is a very nice car and that custom style fits perfectly to it... That white top looks good! I would like to change those wheels, like those very much but I think, they don't dit to custom. That's just what I think.. Those lake pipes are looking good and good job with BMF. Stance is very very good too, thanks for sharing this one!

Yes, this is going to be cool as always... Like this very much, those wheels and tires are looking good on it. Can't wait to see this done..
-
This is looking very good. The kit is not so great, I have 6 Monogram's '56 Chevys. Paintjob looks good, like that colour very much, green and white is a good combo, those wheels are just like what did they use in 70's... Engine looks good too, it's quite simple from the box, but your one looks right. I have Monogram '57 Chevy Bel Air too, and it will be 80's finnish hot rod...
-
Yes, that's the way I do. Can't find good shocks so I make them from scratch. Hopefully I continue this one soon, when Nomad and Ford are finished...
-
This is very nice (as always). Great fan of H-Bodys and I like this one very much! Paintjob is very great, decals are very nicely and I like this very much. Engine detailing is perfect. Thosee wheels and tires are very good ones to this too!
-
This is very interesting build, I'll be watching this one! Thank you for sharing this WIP!

Thank you, James! Now I have about 20-30 projects and just finished that '32 Ford. Hope I can post more today, but let's see if I have time for it.
-
That's very nice too, that paintjob looks good and like those wheels and tires on it. Exhaust pipes are looking good, engine bay is looking good too! Only one compliment... Those plug wires are looking little... How I could say it... Well, they are not looking like they are in real car. Are they coming with the kit...? Othervise this looks very good!
-
This is very nice too! That paintjob looks awesome, engine looks good and very nice detailing on it. Interior looks very good too... Like this, don't know why, but I have never bought this model kit. Always have been something better...

It was great to follow that WIP-thread and no when it's finished, it looks almost perfect! That's just my style hot rod. Paintjob looks great and engine is looking good, awesome detailing on it and chassis looks very good too. Next model to the bench and make a WIP-thread to the forum. This is nice!
