There is super detailing on the engine!!! It looks like 1:1. Maybe some day I add details like that (maybe...) That is awesome interior too, it was great to see the full story from your fotki, thanks for posting this!
  3. Very nice job with this, there is a huge difference between the first and the finished pics. Painjob looks good, and interior looks super clean without any mistakes. I'm not a fan of those wheels or tires, but I think they fit quite well to this car!
  4. Looks good! Nice colour on it, those scalloops are looking very nice. BMF is very good, very good work with it, specially if this was your first time ever...! Nice interior, like the shifter and engine bay looks very good, great detailing on it. This was my first model ever, seven years back I built it.
  5. For Gary, this is the only kit from Austin, I think. So this is the only way to build one. I would like to build stock Austin too, but I would like to build gasser Austin too, of course! This model is looking very good, that painjob is very nice and decals are perfectly into body shapes, great job! But, any pics from the engine...?
  6. Thanks! That fill in the engine is thing, what needs to be done in many model kits... Like AMT's engines have sometimes ''great looking'' hole for metal axle. But I'm happy that seats are rarely moulded to the interior, now when I'm working on the inner fenders, I can't take interior off from the body... But next step after I finish those inner fenders is interior, seats I painted and they are lookin' very good.
  7. Very nice colour on it! Panjob looks smooth and shiney too and that grille is looking very nice, and those headlights are very good ones too, like this.Exept the wheels...
  8. Well, project continues, I bought the Mustang, not a new one and the hole front axle system is missing so I must buy all the parts to front axle system... That doesn't matter, this wasn't expensive and I get the inner fenders. First I removed them from Mustang body and test fit tells that I must make them longer, higher and I must to make them look like AMC's. I test fit slicks for mustang and it looked pretty good... Also I found a few place for more bondo to seats...
  9. Thumbs up, this is very GREAT model! Big fan of H-Bodys, specially Skyhawk, Monza and Starfire, because 1:1 '79 Buick Skyhawk 2+2 is in the garage... This is just so nice, that engine looks like 1:1 and the hole car is like straight from 80's drag strip... Awesome job John as always!
  10. Yes, I'm happy too for the finished product. It's quite fun to buid these Hot Wheels, my next project will be also 80's style.
  11. I'm a big fan of AMC and people build too less AMC cars! But this is very nice and that Cross Ram manifold is a very good looking under the hood!
  12. Very nice Cryshler! From what kit is this built from? Paintjob looks good, lots of chrome, this is very great car from the fifties!

Very good looking Nova. Painjob is very good and what I can see from the interior, it looks good too. You can't see Nova straight from the factory line every day, all of these are built racecars or street machines... But yours looks great, pics from the engine...?

Very clean ride! Good looking, that painjob is amazing! Great choice of wheels and tires, those are just pefect. Iterior looks good too and engine detailing is very nice as the hole car is. Keep on the amazing work!
  15. This is very good looking start! Great stance and tires are perfect to this, chop top and channeling gives a very great look!
  16. This is awesome looking model, great work on it! Paintjob looks very good and all custom bodywork is made very nicely, you can't see any mistakes there! Engine detailing is very good too, and interior is very great! It would be very cool to be in model car show, USA of course, here in Finland we have less models, wich are very cool too, but here are lots of pro-modelers!
  17. YES, 409= The best engine in the world! I think, those mud flaps look pretty good too. Thank you both for comments, Snapper, I sent you a reply for your question.
  18. Very great model again, paintjob is very good, engine detailing is super and stance is good!
  19. Very good looking this is better than exellent job!!! Very good paintjob, it seems like mirror and that interior is very great too, wheels & tires are just like 1:1 and those wheelie bars are autentic looking too, as engine looks 1:1 with all great details, keep this going.

Your builds are getting just more and more interesting! This is very nice, those modifications are made so nicely that this would be a new model kit from AMT. Very good job and keep this going too!!!
  21. WOW! This is very very interesting project, chop top and sectioned Ford panel isn't thing what you can see every day...! This is going to look awesome!
  22. Very good start, very nice and interesting project. I like when people are building custom Van- style builds... Yours looks good, those opening doors will make this project more interesting, keep it going!
  23. I finished this today. It was project of about four days. I had one Mercury Cougar, wich was a good car for this... First I took it a part and primered the body. After that, I painted it with Motip flake-red. I thaught that it's not good if I only paint the body... So I designed to build it 80's style Finnish Hot Rod. I raised rearend of this car. Body came ready and I did some test fit. It was good but something missed... I made mud flaps from paper, and I drew a USA flag to them. Sidepipes are made from tin. Interior was boring, so I painted the seats white, but like that you can see the black through that white paint. Steering wheel is made from tin and MIG- velding wire... Project pictures: Assembled interior: It's ready!: Let me know, what you think!!!
  24. Good start, I'm waiting to see this finished!
