That's so massive that it needs twin turbo engine...
-
'55 Chevy Coupe, that would be nice protoype car with steelies and hubcaps. But that's very great lead sled, don't know am I liking it or am I thinking that it's bad, but cool it is for sure! Nice conversion, that is great idea, something different, maybe I have seen too much "normal" '55 Chevy Bel Airs...

I'm not into these, but this will be interesting! Your talents are great so I'm looking this one for sure.
-
Must say: Perfect. H-Body, great start for drag car... This one is very nice as I said. How much do you have this older stuff? Keep them coming...
-
Wow, perfect! Impala is one of my favorite subjects and this one is very very nice! Paintjob looks very good on it and I like that foiling, it looks very nice, just like in 1:1! Engne detailing is very nice also, that 396'' Big Block is perfect to this one. It's very clean build all the way! Is this the new Revell "StreetBurner" kit? Very nice!

Nice project going, that Dodge Pickup is so ugly that it is pefect basis for big conversion. Just like this project. Very nice, I'm watching this one for sure. Where are those tires and wheels from...?
-
WOW, that looks very good!!! Very nice paintjob on it and decals are nice also. Today, I'm going to get Fairy Power Spray, then I'll try to strip the paint off from the Corvette. Now I think, I'm going to start building from other parts...
-
Oh, that's great!!! Impala '60 is very nice, but I see too rarely these built to drag cars! Yours is looking very very good, that paintjob is very good and it's so clean build all the way... Engine looks very good too, but I can see one mistake, but that's manufacturer's mistake, that engine is too back. I mean, in real thing, that engine is not that far in the back. This is how it is in 1:1... That's bad thing, I'm building also '60 Impala and that is bad thing with it but I fix it to resin kit. This is very nice all the way, thank you very much for sharing it. BTW: Where are those decals from? Haven't seen those before but as freak of '60 Impala, maybe I should build it too with those decals...

Not so freakin' huge anymore !

Neil, that looks awesome! So great looking Gasser. That detailing is very good. How that car is got to that position. I mean how those front tires stay off the ground? Awesome job with it, it's just so realistic Hot Rod, thank you for sharing it!
-
I'm impressed!!! That's awesome model, paintjob is perfect and black and orange combo looks awesome. This is so nice that I can't say anything more, im speechless... Awesome AMX!!!
-
OUTSTANDING!!! That idea of this build is perfect, paintjob looks very cool and that grille work is awesome. Engine detailing looks super, there are not any mistakes. '58 Impala steering wheel looks very good on it and interior work all the way is very good. Beautiful Chevy...

Umm, that scoop gives great streetRace look! Color is perfect and paintjob looks very cool! Black hood looks very good on it and of course that BumbleB stripe looks good! Sponsor decals are nice too. Engine looks very good of course and detailing is perfect. NOS systems in the backseat place, nice!
-
Oh, that's very good looking! Like that color very much, and paintjob looks very great also. Good job with it. Engine detailing is very nice and it's great to hear that you have air cleaner for it, because those carburetors are always undetailed. I must make '61 Impala carb. better right now... But anyways your Roadrunner looks very good, it's just so clean build, can't find any mistakes from it!

Building Monogram's Street and Revell's Racing Version of Shelby Cobra.

DanielG: How those rear tires are wrong scale? I'm not sure that are they from this kit or not, but they fit fine. Those wheels fit also perfectly to them, and that's why I think that they are from this kit. But I can be wrong also. Sport Suburban: Thank you for the info, I must build that interior right now, before I paint the body and then I'll do an other mock up. I was thinking about doing some modifications to it, but I thought that it would be better to look here first and it was really good thing! Thank you for the comments, interior work is the next step to make this Cobra ready, I'm trying to finish this one in 2010, it would be very nice. That would be "quick build" from me, usually my builds are taking about an year... -
Building Monogram's Street and Revell's Racing Version of Shelby Cobra.
W-409 replied to W-409's topic in WIP: Model Cars
Now Shelby Cobra is on four wheels. Tire and wheel combo fits perfectly, no problem with that. But I did little mockup, to check the ride reight and if I must make something better. No problem with that also... But when I test fitted the engine to chassis, it fits just perfectly, but when body is in place, engine system doesn't fit under the hood. Don't know, what I have to do for it but maybe I built new engine mounts or just do some modifications to those old ones... Don't know really what I have to do, I have also one hood with scoop but I really don't want to use it... An other thing. I built that register plate frame ready to be mounted. I painted around of those textes by blue and then removed the paint off from the textes. Illinois plate is lots of better than "COBRA" what's also in the box... Next step, I must make that engine to fit and then primer the body and of course more work on the interior. Thank you for looking, comments are welcome. -
Smoooooooooth! That's very smooth Buick! I like it very much, that paintjob looks very cool. Any polishing? That would be very tricky to polish... But anyways, Jimmy Flintstone bodies are very good quality, I think. Have one '60 Nomad body waiting for better building talents but that one looks very good. Back to this. Where are those wheels from?
-
I can remember, when I tried to use whitewall decals to my '64 Impala custom. They went so badly before I got them to the tire that it was impossible to use them. I don't like those. But model looks very cool, paintjob is very nice and foiling looks very good also. That engine looks good too, but interior picture is bit... blurry... But other pictures are ok, and I can see the GTX. That's very clean build, no big mistakes on it! This is one kit, I have buy, it's so nice car. Dodge Polara '63 would be very nice also, but I have never seen kit from it.
-
With your building talents, this is going to be awesome! Engine looks very good and chassis is very nice also. Can't wait to see more!
-
Thank you, Clay. You are on the list right now. My Corvette is still waiting for stripping paint, have no Fairy Power Spray yet.
-
I'm watching! That looks awesome, nice detailing and that paintjob is very good, of course decals from Slixx... Nice job with it so far, can't wait to see finished product. Oh, and remember to paint those opening "flaps" from blower hat. Nice job with it.
-
Very interesting project you have there. I think, this car is best when built to Pro Stock Drag Racer, but this one isn't really bad style either... Very good job so far, I think, i must buy this kit some day, your work looks awesome! Oh, are you serious! It's about - 15 celsiusdegrees here, in Lapland, there was over 30 minus degrees few days ago. Freezing...
-
Yes, frontend is just a little too high, but little of lowering and it's good. This kit is quite good, but I built mine so long time ago that it is pretty rough build, but I can remember the kit. Your looks awesome, that paintjob is very cool and engine work is very great, as always!
-
That '41 Chevy truck looks very cool- very massive and very nice scratchbuilding there. But how "SixShooter" engine would move that truck? Maybe V8 would be better, but that's very nice and there is no any reason to change the engine, that fits just perfectly to the frame. Very good job.
-
That real car looks very good, can't wait to see this Chevrolet finished. Nice stance on it, and yes, those surf boards are "must" thing to that. What is the kit, I have AMT, but it's Panel Van. This is lot more interesting body and very interesting build also. Nice job with it so far.
