  1. I would use a fret saw http://www.woodcraft.com/product/2003720/1478/olson-sf63523-adjustable-frame-fret-saw-.aspx
  2. I'm not a fan of the Mercs but that is absolutely beautiful. I especially like the port holes on the hood. Great job.
  3. Tamiya clear blues and yellows will look acceptable over silver.
  4. I'm a self employed cabinet maker for 36 years now. I started a BBQ spice company 5 years ago. I started doing catering jobs and competition cookoffs 3 years ago and I'm now looking to open a restaurant in a year or two. God willing I'll trade the first three for the last one some day.
  5. Looks like something Cruella Deville would drive
  6. Kosher or not, as a woodworker I can fully appreciate all the work to make a model out of wood.
  7. I've done it with a warm water soaked sponge.
  8. Now that theme song is stuck in my head, thanks
  9. I found this link recently about a guy named Anders Malmberg who built a 1930's locomotive machine shop in 1:87 scale. This will blow your mind considering the scale. http://www.modvid.com.au/html/body_anders_machine_shop.html
  10. Very nice layout and everything looks like it belongs. The floor, however looks too clean.
  11. They all look great but that Falcon really does it for me.
  12. If you know at least one given measurement, say the wheelbase for instance. It is possible to take a picture from the internet, and scale it to a grid using a photo editing program. From there it is relatively easy to gain all the rest of the measurements. I need to go to work, but if you are interested, I'll post how I did it in photoshop later.
  13. I saw that car at a carshow many many years ago. You did a great job on it.
  14. You've got a lot to be proud of Kate.
  15. Don't be too wishful to be older. Enjoy your glory days which are now. We all felt like we were mature at 16 but as you get older you'll see the wisdom behind some of the perceived discrimination. I'd gladly trade you my low insurance rates for your youth
  16. Very creative and well done. One of the best videos I think I've seen.
  17. I would have expected greater detail on that motor out of the box considering the price of these kits.
  18. Very nice, I like the wires coming out of the headlight buckets, nice touch of detail there.
  19. I love it. I used to own a 68 Caprice back in the day and although the roof is different this reminds me so much of my old ride
