scott, 33.5-17-16 tires are used. goodyeaqr only in nhra. 16x16 beadlocks are mandatory.

that's still small scale in my book paul. LOL.

thanks harry. i gotta agree......nothing looks more like real metal than real metal. so, the next thing was to machine the wheel mating surface to duplicate the lightened beadlock. next i machined the actual beadlock ring. here they are together.

i'm not a classic vehicle kinda guy so, i like the non-orignal paint scheme. i think what does it for me, on this model. are the real wood details. well done and very authentic looking.

hey greg, my apologies. i was going to answer your question about the body and it slipped my mind. as of yet, i haven't done any body prep. i want to get the main frame rails built and some of the cage so i can mount the body. i believe, i need to support it better for sanding. i'm a little heavy handed.

finished the other wheel center and got onto the rim. these wheels replicate a 16x16 double beadlock wheel w/ 4 1/2" backspace and a 5" bolt circle. the wheel. still have to machine the beadlock portion on the wheel. then make the bead lock rings.

that engine is definately incredible tyrone. your ability to correctly detail at that scale amazes me. i have a question for you...what are you using for the drive belts on the dry sumppump and the vacuum pump?

i like a more modern swoopiness.

thank you guys! got the drawings done for the rear wheel centers. here's one of them. . fits nicely over the wheel hubs / studs. used a sharpie to see what they'll look like in black.

thanks a ton, guys!!! it'd good to be working on this car again. it has sat entirely too long. tony, the rotor itself is a machinable composite of some sort. sort of like, but not, renshape. where it's from..........i don't know. sorry. the hubs are machined aluminum.

here are the rear shocks. over the weekend i got around to making the motor plate, and front wheels.

i started a pro mod camaro a while back. finally found some time to start on it again. here is the inspiration for the build. here is where i'm at. the motor and transmission. the rear end and rear brakes. front struts and front brakes.

question for you nikko. (maybe someone has already asked and i just missed it) do the fuel cars (t/f and funny car) run 1320 ft. or 1000 ft. like here?
