  1. Thanks for that bit of information. Congratulations on the three Terry even though you didn't get the "Theme" Clayton which truck too third ?
  2. Terry and Clayton - hope you do well Who was putting on the shows you guys entered - local clubs ? I live out past mile marker nowhere and dont get much information.
  3. Are they going to have a table long enough for that monster ? Of course if you get there first no room for the competition ! Terry - That is a serious looking truck that looks like it could haul anything. I am very impressed with the work you have put into this to make it such a jaw dropper.

  5. Detroit - Single stack with dual air's
  6. Green looks good on those old trucks , either one could pull that color off.
  7. Cleaned up real nice, you going to give it one of those paint jobs with multiple stripes ?
  8. That is a uniqe looking setup. I wouldnt worry about the lenses on the tractor. All the old tractors back home on the ranch are missing them due to vibrating out or being shot out.
  9. Make that two of us ! Terry this just gets better and more inspiring every time I look at it. Those Hymel brand tires are just awesome ! Keep up the Spectacular work.
  10. I have used their products a lot (building aircraft) some colors recommend a acrylic base - some an enamel. I go with whichever they recommended as I figure they have tested this stuff to see which produces the best result. After all what is having on hand an extra bottle of paint and thinner going to hurt ? The thing to using Alclad is spraying a thin mist , the lighter you spray the better the results. Start with a coat that the only way you can tell is the object being painted looks wet with no color from the Alclad. Let it dry and hit it again the same and keep repeating . This is not a quick process but will result in the best finish..
  11. Whats that ? Too sick for school but well enough to go buy paint ?
  12. Wow - that is one sharp rig. Great color combination ! First AMT truck - you mean there are other brands ?
  13. When I saw the first pic I thought it was the reference photo. Very nice work !
  14. This is one nice logging truck ! Superb workmanship all the way around...
  15. I think it looks more at home on the IH Scout. I have seen a lot of 1/1 rigs set up like that. Only thing is yours doesn't have the trademark rust on the fender lips and under the door.
  16. Angel - That is a good looking combo !
  17. It is only a matter of time I will try that normally it looks like this I am looking forward to some bench time. Currently repainting my hobby room from a dark poop brown to a sky blue.
  18. This is whats going on in Eastern Montana
  19. Good to see this one getting another chance to grace a display shelf. What other parts are you needing ?
  20. I would go with a Transtar 4300 just to make it easy, now to spice the trailer up a bit - http://public.fotki.com/modeltrucks25thscale/model_magazine_articles/car_modeller/cm38_july_1996_conv/cm_1996_07_jul_01.html
