Well Fellas.... I have been busting my tail putting in a lot of hours on a build book, drawings and trying to get things done for the nationals coming up next week. It's going to be close but I am plugging away and hope I get it done. I decided to drive around my neighborhood to try and find an area that would pretty cool to do a photo shoot at. And well I took a couple test shots and thought I would share them with ya. -

Tim... I am not sure that I will need a suitcase...lol I have heard that there is possibly going to be about 3000 models there. That's what one of my friends told me that I talked to earlier today who has gone to the Nationals before and he said that the Swap meet will have a bunch of the big hitters out there. I am excited to experience my first IPMS Show that I will be entering in and with it being the Nationals will just be the Icing on top. I will let you in on a little secret it isn't a Bantam, Although I do have a Fiat Altered body....... well ok it that one won't be build next either...lol I think you will dig what it will be . -

Twin Turbo Coyote Pro Mod - Turbo Impellers Updated Pics 7-23
Mooneyzs replied to Codi's topic in WIP: Drag Racing Models
Holy Smokes Tim... that is awesome and had to been a pain in the Butt. I know drill rod can have a hardness of Rocwell C60 to C65 which would make it very hard to cut. You couldn't of found anything any better to use for the impeller.l without machining it all from scratch. Looks Killer. You keep raising the bar for us. -
Tim... that is flat out Gorgeous my friend. Those wheels look great. I can't wait to see more of this build. Keep up the awesome work.

Alright Fellas.... I did some more work on this over this past week and in between trying to get a build book created for this build. So I wasn't 100% Happy with the way that my front Axle's Alclad turned out way back when and anywhere from all the different things of moving it around and working around it. I had rubbed some of the Alclad off by Accident, well anyway I decided to Tear the front end off the chassis and repaint the Alclad. Here are pics of the Updated Front Axle.... I sanded the Front Axle down to be repainted: Here I repainted the Black House of Kolor Base and Omni Plus Urethane Clear. After Paint I forced dried it at 140 Degress for 1 hour: Here is the Alxe after re-sprayiing the Alclad Chrome: Polished up the Axle and Put the Axle back together: Front View: Here is the Axle installed back on to the Chassis and all of the Radius rods hooked back up.: Here its the Chassis all Back together: -

You are welcome. That Dash is looking great. Yeah that kit looks like a good candidate for dome detailing. I actually picked up a set of the Scale Motor sports carbon fiber kit along with a Photo-Etch set they had for it too. The other Tamiya kits seem like decal nightmares...lol. -
