  8. Bill... great looking build. Very nice job on it.
  9. Clay... yes we do do. I am hoping to be able to finish prepping some parts tonight so that I will be able to paint them tomorrow after work or if I am lucky maybe this evening. I know I have to be father behind both you and John at this point.
  10. Lou... I will have to post some front axles for you whe I get home. I have some pics of Prudhommes Monza pr wait I may of Benn his Cuda (dont remember off the top of my head) when I was at the Garlits Museum a few years ago along with Kenny Bernstein's restored Budweiser Arrow that was a car show here in Arizona years ago. I am sure I have a bunch of other pics I have saved for reference of other funny cars that I can show you different styles the guys ran back then too.
  11. John...What an outstanding update. You are trucking along and making great progress. It looks great. Love the idea with the parachute and it looks so cool with a driver too.
  12. John... what an awesome update. You are trucking along with your build. I love the driver you got in there. So cool. Those front wheels are very nice.
  13. Got anything to make us drool over again John??
  14. John... Thanks brother, this forum finally let me post it this morning. I tried posting it multiple times yesterday only to give me a error every time . I making a little headway, Not as much as I would of liked but maybe I can get a few more things done after some chores this morning. Lee... Thanks, yes sir you are not seeing things. There is a Ferrari F1 car in the back ground. I had started on it shortly after our Desert Scale Classic show here. I needed something that was going to be just a fun out of the box build to help my sanity and try to build something quick...
  15. Hello Fellas.... Got a small update. I know it isn't much but its some progress. Having fun with this build so far. I had dug thru my aftermarket box of items to see if there was anything that I could use on this build and I found a couple of items to Spice up this build : I was able to get the chassis mold lines cleaned up as well as getting the block glued together. Got a few items in primer and now I need to clean some of it some more after what the primer exposed: Mocked it up just for giggles:
  16. Wayne... That looks so awesome, you could of fooled me that you had trouble with the decals, I see no flaws what so ever. It looks Great and I really like the looks of this one. Outstanding Job.
  17. Bill... Great looking Thunderbolts. Nice Job on them!
  18. John.... it's great to see you joining the party. I know you have been focusing on your other awesome build before starting this. It gave Clay and I a little head start. We all are going to have a blast with these.
  19. Tim... I just love this build. Ot is going to be so awesome when done. Awesome fabrication on your test pieces. Is there anything you can't make.. Cheers!! Seeing this has me thinking of a couple LSR cars I have been on the back of my mind that I would like to build one day.
  20. Greg!!!!... Thank you Mate!! I appreciate the kind comments. Its great to see you still coming around here. Have you been working on any builds lately?? Maybe I have missed your threads if you have one going on?? I am almost done with this one then I can start on the next 1/16th scale build Hope all is well my friend, Cheers!
  21. Wayne... This is an awesome car and going to be a killer build. I love it and can't wait to see more of this one.
  22. Tim... I am loving the Mock up of this with the wheels... looks killer and love the stance. I have some improvements that I need to work on with my brass skills but excited to give a brass chassis a spin. I will have to E-mail you a sneak peak of the next 1/16th build on deck
  23. Paul.... Thanks Brother!! Nikko... Yhank you very much my friend. It's been a long ride and so nice to have it almost done. I honestly can't wait to call it complete so I can start my next 1/16th build. I would like to approach the build with the sub assemblies and their own little models a little better on the next one bit its a good way to approach I think. Would be awesome for you to start those Novas, can't wait to see them. Jim... Thank you so much for the kind words and for joining the forum just to say congrats. It's no surprise that I am a huge 1/16th scale fan and just some how have fallen in love with the scale. I can't wait to share my next build with everyone but have other things I need to finish first. Well fellas I know that I need to get back to the bench to get this one completed. Going to be trying to get some work done soon on it. Inhave had a lot going in at home with my Dog and he has been more of my priority right now. But hopefully soon I will have some more to share on this build. Thanks all for being patient with me.
  24. Tim... I am super excited for you to start this build and with your talent you will knock the engine out of the park. Especially seeing you machine your Donovan for the altered. I was thinking that the body was the frosted ultra detail. I would love to get a 1/16the body from TDR in it but those are big chunk of change for them but then again the material is way easier to work with than the white flexible nylon. You are inspiring me to want to machine some items and do a brass chassis. Cheers!
  25. Tim.... this going to another epic build by you. I can't wait to see this one play out. Gotta ask what material is the body... the white flexible nylon or frosted ultra detail?. It looks great so far. I am also guessing that you are gonna machine this engine as well . Going to be a sweet build.
