  1. Keurig died this a.m. How does it expect me to start my day without caffeine!!
  2. Reach out to the link below. It's a musuem that also restores Packard's in a former dealership.... https://www.americaspackardmuseum.org/
  3. Seven Christmas' ago, I took Brian to see Santa for his first holiday as part of my family. As you know, he passed back in April of liver cancer. This is Riley's first Christmad in her new home. When I adopted her, the shelter bear hugger her to the meet and greet and has zero interest in walks on a leash so I brought my teenager with me as I expected her to be uncooperative. He got her to the sidewalk and I grabbed a shopping cart. Other than refusal to walk in or out of Petsmart, she was great! Well.....until the drive home. I think she thought she was being turned back in again and was so worked up she yacked on the ride home. Not just a little, but more like bachelor party yack!! Glad it was unseasonably warm to detail the back seat.
  4. Not really a Ford guy, but couldn't pass up the black/black 1/18 Cobra Mustang
  5. $50 for the trio. The snap kits are F/S. The Ford is complete with excellent chrome but missing the passenger side A pillar. The box had seen better days
  6. Occassionally shows up on Big Hair era segments.....Just Between You and Me
  7. Cincinnati (Forest Park) today. There were two cases of 1/32 Green Hornet's on the tables towards the front but otherwise this was it. One of the other local stores had the Nova wagon's last week!
  8. Wife had a serious surgery on Friday a.m. Surgery was done early afternoon but I didn't get to see her until mid afternoon when she was a little more awake. She spent the rest of the day until 6:30a Saturday before they got her a room. The hospital claimed they didn't have a room ready......um, no...they were short staffed! Don't go into a career that you may have to work a holiday if you can't show up!! My wife and I are both in careers that require an occasional holiday (I missed my oldest son's first easter). We didn't get her Rx filled as she was discharged late on Saturday. Went to Walgreens first thing Sunday to pick them up....pharmacy is not open yet. Ten minutes after, I tracked down the store manager to ask if the pharmacy was going to open today. "Oh yeah, she just got here". Then she asked if can wait about 30 minutes as there were several left over from the night before that were not filled.
  9. I prefer the self checkouts! Bought six items at Ollies (four kits...all the same, box of coffee and a calendar). After I paid it just didnt sound right so I looked at the receipt.....yep charged me twice for the coffee. No one else in line so no pressure but how do you screw up a small transaction??
  10. The toy area already looked like post Black Friday sales but did manage to find a fresh box of Nova wagons. Only grabbed a few as I want to do one my family had growing up and one as the new purple Hot Wheel gasser
  11. I missed the last issue and had not seen one at shows/swap meets. Finally grabbed a sealed one at a recent toy show.
  12. Joined the ranks of grandparent this evening. Sam and mom doing well. Dad (my son) doing well too
  13. Only release without the T-top...
  14. ICM kit - Noblesville Toy Show All the rest from the CARBS show in Dayton
  15. Toy show in Nobleville IN.....To quote SpongeBob Squarepants.....Best Day Ever!!!
  16. Stopped at Meijer this a.m. In the die cast, they had a couple with James Bond 1/24 cars so for curiousity, I liked the Aston Martin but grabbed the Mustang to price scan it. $24.99!! It's a made by Motor Max and appears to be the same one that was at WM for $10!
  17. That is awesome!! Huge fan of the old Cadillacs
  18. The swap meet is monthly (except for November). These are from a previous show. Both open/complete.
  19. Judge Harry T. Stone's biologial dad Buddy Ryan (John Astin) is 93......but I'm feeling much better now!"
  20. Swap meet yesterday.....cant walk away from a mighty Chrysler!
  21. The mighty oak tree may have just signed its death warrant as the roots found the sewer line.....again. It's a 60 year old plus tree but the original owners planted it over the sewer line out to the street. The plumber has augured it out but it's become more frequent. Never really had any problems until the toliet died and it was replaced with a low flush 1.6 gallon toilet. Our neighbor had a liner put in her line years ago but it was $4k. I suspect the cost to install a liner would be about the same to take the tree down so I think its time to go.
  22. C1500 454SS - sealed inside. swap meet find Hardcastle & McCormick - open but complete. Wasn't looking for this kit but caught my eye. swap meet find Force 440 - open, missing wheels/tires, but everything else is there. Auction win
