  1. Mike, thx...I plan to get back to them...sorta in that "lull" stage, guess we all go thru it. Tyrone, yeah...66 shelby, been on the back burner for awhile now. Show us your builds buddy!! Bart, gonna be one of the baddest cam's I've ever seen. Get yourself better soon!! Dave, no holds barred, I say show what ya got!
  2. Well, 2011 is almost gone and it has been an up-n-down year for my builds...did not get to spend as much time at the bench as I wanted, but do we ever? Anyways, I was unsuccessful at finishing a project this year, was able to start to many though...LOL! I do have a rock crawler posted "on the workbench" that I hope to finish this year. Hopefully, I'll finish these others in 2012. My drag projects are below, some were reborn from previous years. Post your 2011 stuff, finished or not!! I know most everyone has done some outstanding builds this year, which is why I'm glad to be a part of this forum, great place to share and learn...Thanks all!!
  3. Looks like a very creative project. Good luck, I'll keep up with it...two SC 4x4's on the board, cool.
  4. Absolutely stunning work Mr.Teresi...great project.
  5. Thanks for the comments...I've done some more chassis work, rear shock mounts are in place, will be moving to the front mounts next. I'm still not sure about the suspension yet. I'm kinda liking the idea of an independent setup in the front, similar to a trophy truck...still have motor room on either end, may even play with the idea of four-wheel independent since the main chassis rails are flat...we'll see. I may be able to start that later today. This is not a replica of anything, just clowning around. Thanks for looking.
  6. I've added a bit more to the chassis...starting to shape up. After adding some more bars here and there, I should be able to start some suspension. Thanks for looking.
  7. I was able to do a little more chassis work and cut/form a couple body templates made from index cards. Hope to do more over the weekend. Unsure about suspension and motor for this, several combos I'm looking into. Thanks for looking!
  8. "Something wicked this way comes"...loving this. Awesome work Robert!!
  9. Hello all I've been wanting to start this rock-crawler/mud-toy for a year or so...I usually build dragsters. The plan is to build this 1/25 scale based loosely upon a 60's style Jeepster. The chassis will be brass, body will be cut and formed styrene sheet. The running gear, suspension and motor will be combo of scratchbuilt and extra parts. I have no idea where this will go or how it will end up, but it should be fun...nothing super-detailed but an accurate purpose-built representation. I've not done much yet, still researching. Hope you enjoy and thanks for looking.
  10. I really dig the intricate artwork going on here...wow, wow and WOW!!
  11. I apologize guys...I thought the blend transistion on the frt fender tops would be a little more noticeable than the pix show...should show better @ next primer coat. The area where the A-pillars, hood and tops of fenders come in should be noticeably different in gray. Gotta work on the pix...lol.
  12. Been a while since I sat down with this one...good to be back, heckuva stress reliever! I hope to put in some more "time at the bench" over the winter. I've blended the transistion at tops of frt fenders to hood bulge, added flaring to frt airdam and made a wedge-cut down sides (pulled out bottom and reglued to create a slight flare to back meats). I've started reworking the rear bumper area, I was not happy with first go-around and will try it again. Thanks for looking.
  13. Hey Tyrone....looking like an all-white 1:1 already (w/chrome wheels of course). Man, this is great, love your builds.
  14. Hi Thumper....."going to get crazy"?? Its already crazy...crazy good. I'm diggin it, body looks great so far and I know ur chassis will be unreal. Some frt wheels just like the 1:1 shot would set this one off!
  15. Tyrone...This is one of the best-looking Camaro's I've ever seen. It's kinda subtle and mean at the same time. The body, stance, chassis and motor are just "off-the-hook"!! Great work pal.
  16. Wow Tyrone....Man, this one here is going to be a beauty! I need to get back into my projects and looking at this one may be what I needed. Thanks dude!!
  17. Hey Chris...those headers belong in a museum. Now those are just plain beautiful....folks, pay attn, metal works "101" going on here!! Very impressive!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Keep it going!!
  18. Hi Randy, Man...this should be one heckuva ride. Gonna be awesome. Great work so far: that engine detail, the way the firewall meets the body and the chassis work...Grade "A".
  19. Hi all, been able to work on this body a bit more. Couple pix of progress, should be in primer b4 too much longer, now I'm moving into the fine-tuning of the shape and sealing/smoothing it all up. Thanks for the comments and looking, I appreciate it very much!! I hope to have this car built over the winter.
  20. Amazing how one hack turns into twenty, ehh?...Your third time does look better. Keep it going!
  21. Hi Dave, I'm really liking this build. I think the shot of the blue 'stang without a nose is just super awesome...would make a fine little garage scene build. Anyways, about the roofline. I see what your talking bout, maybe you could try this? Take an index card and hold to the back of the window and trace the shape currently there, then sketch the extra portion needed (add a little extra for trimming). Cut it out and tape it in place to see what it would look like. If satisfied, trace the template to a pc of .04" sheet, cut it out and smoothe it over, then glue in place if your happy with it. Works pretty well for me and its not that extensive. Included a shot of the template. Good luck on whatever you decide to do.
  22. Hi all, I appreciate the kind comments. This one is starting to really get some shape to it. Able to get a little closer this eve. Thanks for looking. Some hood work
  23. Hi Chris. I just have to say your skills are tremendous, what a job you are doing to this Army car. All these fine details and craftmanship is legend, legend I say. I'm pulling for you and I would say good luck...but I'm learning how to make components from you, I don't think you need luck.....lol. You've got that special talent, so keep posting it all so I can keep learning as I appreciate you sharing. I do have a funny car build scheduled after I finish 3 P/M bodies, it will not be this detailed but I hope to execute as well as you are. This is still my fav build anywhere!!
  24. Hey Tyrone....ahhh, the color blue is so grand. Been waiting to see this wild ride painted. Looks great. Awesome job, I think its my fav of yours!!
  25. These components are looking awesome Scott...may have to order something. That is, if I ever make it that far...lol. Good luck man.
