  1. Hi Dave, very nice start on the 'Stang. Should be a wild ride. Oh yeah, that Hoosier lettering is perfect.
  2. Hi guys. Here's the 4th and final P/M body for this year. Yep, its an import...was gonna be a Mustang, but several are out already. I wanted to go different again and this is one of the best looking Supras, my opinion only. Actually this one was started at the same time I started chopping up the Chevelle. I hope to have the Challenger and this one up to the progress on the 68 Vette in a couple weeks and finish all three bodies together. Anyways, its the Dodge and Toyota on the line....lol. Thanks for looking!!! Before and Current Front and rear, still more to add to front
  3. I agree 3000%....this is stunning. Love the dremmel lathe!!
  4. Wayne, that is beautiful. Great so far, like the curbside idea. May do that since I have 4 going.
  5. Hey guys, thanks for looking...Richard, I think I might go with the name, it fits. Derrick, appreciate it. Moved fwd a little more. I've included shots of frt, rear and a B4 and AFT of current progress. Once I get this frt end sewed up and filled, will be time to move to the rear. Then, when the whole body is smoothed over somewhat, I may be be wedging here and there to add some small curves on the overall profile, not sure yet.
  6. Bart, some of the best chassis work I've seen....love the firewall detail and the alum tranny mount. Gonna be one awesome ride. Thumbs way, way up man!!
  7. These look great Wayne....I think my fav is the 68 Mustang, very nice reworking on the Willys, great work on all of them. I hope you and Chris sell many, many. I really look up to your skills and craftsmanship, top-notch. Thanks for sharing.
  8. Thanks for looking in so far guys....inching forward a little bit and thought I would share. I call this one the "Challenging Challenger"....lol. Anyways, next on the list is to finish the top, tuck the rear fenders in behind rear tires (sort of hanging out like a parachute) and finish the wheel openings. Hope to get a little bit done this weekend.
  9. Hi guys, since I'm in the finishing stages of the 68 Corvette P/M bodywork, I went ahead with some of the beginnings of my next body experiment, just aching for some plastic cutting I guess. I know I should finish one and I will soon, probably will be a "New"stalgia type funny car, after I have this one and a Ford body done....anyways, going for broke on this 2010 Dodge Challenger. I do love these cars, but they certainly have funky proportions. So, we'll see where it goes. Thanks for looking. Hope you enjoy. Basic start point with rear fascia marked for removal Rear fascia removed and top marked for relocating Top removed, moved cut portion 3/8" towards rear to reduce "Greenhouse" Before and after of top relocation, wheel center-to-center shows finished wheelbase
  10. Hi Roger, I'm really digging this build, like the mock-up. Looking forward to seeing this one finished.
  11. Able to get a little more body stuff done...thanks for looking Rear bumpers roughed in and filled Rear bumpers smoothed, rear window area ready for mod'ing .03" sheet cut, formed and located for new opening Rear window opening trimmed and filled '68V body almost ready for final finishing
  12. Thanks to Android for requesting these pix, good looking car Bart. Ever thought about an Outlaw build with 10.5" wide rears, this looks perfect for that type of car. Google '66 Outlaw Nova and enjoy the view. Just a suggestion. Good luck with the rest of the build.
  13. This shall be a treat, looking forward to the journey...Thanks for sharing and welcome, this is a great site!! BTW, looking very good so far!!
  14. Wow Chris...You have some skills man, awesome work!!
  15. What a cool idea!! The shark would be awesome. Discovery Channel, hmmm, interesting...thanks for the suggestion.
  16. Thanks for the comments guys...resin would be cool. Anyways, I'm much closer to the finish line for this body to be done, bodywork that is. Next on the list is the rear window and taillight areas, then on to final finishing. Another couple days maybe? I have another body, in a P/M Dodge flavor, that may be falling in behind this one and anxious to start that one. Thanks for looking. Front window marked for more trimming....round .025" styrene placed down bottom of sides, around frt airdam and up rear wheel opening halfway for flaring. Filled and smoothed. Work for taillight area started...added a blend radius to taillight openings 3rd primer coat, finishing rear window and rear fascia work are next, then to final finishing.
  17. Hi Wayne....That Super Chief car is absolutely beautiful.
  18. This has masterpiece wrote all over it, great story and exceptional building so far...tuned in.
  19. I agree with the others, looks great.
  20. Yep, I heard it too. Agreed, more pix please. Thanks.
  21. Been following this for awhile now along with everyone else. This is absolutely incredible. Great stuff, I see something new to look at every time. Thanks for sharing.
  22. Wow...certainly an awesome piece of art, pure genius on the tires, really like that!!
  23. Hey Nick, been there and certainly done that....you should see my heap of scrap. Take a break and let it come back to you, works for me. Pulling for you man!!
  24. Hey guys, I truly appreciate the comments....Able to sneek in some more this eve, couple pix. Thanks. Front window area close now and continued hood work...More "A" pillar trimming needed for sides, should be next 2nd primer coat, still have problem areas but not as many, much closer than b4....will start refilling 2morro hopefully. I keep forgetting to fill those door lines, ooops.
