  12. You know, I've seen my fair share of scale dragster builds in many different disciplines and some have been so great that I was just amazed, in a state of awe actually. The only way they could be more realistic is if they were a real 1:1. Well, this one is better than those and is the best I've seen. The imagination, engineering, scratchbuilding and bodywork done here is second to none and I say that with meaning! Great job Mr. Teresi, this one is an incredible piece of work, bravo! I've followed from the very start and I've had to pick my jaw off the ground more than once during the build. Very one-of-a-kind and truly unique to the max! I still don't understand how anyone could have negative thoughts/comments on this build as a WIP or Under Glass....furthermore, post those comments. It really would not matter if it was painted orange-peeled pink and washed with used coals and dirt (would still be great!). I do think Mr. Teresi has already explained this was his build, his way, and for him only. This was a build for us to enjoy and learn from, I know I have and I appreciate it being shared. I only hope my projects will be half this great. Again, Great Job....You are a Master and I'm a big fan!!
  13. Scratch build a top, scratch some tube bumpers and make it a 4x4 stadium racer! Good luck!
  14. gonna be one cool build, like it a lot!!!
  15. Oh yes, I'm really diggin your brass chassis work, I have one of those going too (pic below). Been taking a break from it for awhile though to try a styrene chassis. You're making it look easy and those are usually the best! Makes me want to work on my brass/copper some more! Great work, I'll continue to watch this, for sure. Hope you don't mind me throwing my pic in, just admiring your work and relating to the work it takes to do these.
  16. Nothing but sweet so far, has to be one of my fav P/M body styles. Looking great, awesome work!
  17. Greg, this is looking great. I especially like the work you've done on the body, the long nose and the rear fender/trunk areas, very awesome! I really like that tranny and its mtg brkts as well as your chassis work. Well, I like it all, nuff said. Great work!
  18. Hi Chris, Nice to see you doing some more to this one. I enjoy every update on this one, big or small. I've said it before, this one will be great, thanks for sharing. I know how you feel on the work deal, I've had no time to do anything in almost 2 weeks now, I'm ready to get some stuff done though. Good luck and enjoy this build!
  19. Guys, I sincerely appreciate the comments. Although I don't have too many physical updates ready yet, I have been at it designing some of the rear end assembly, still have a bit more to do to finish including all 4-link parts. I've included some images of the 3D models to show the progress so far. First image is the 3D solid assembly model and others are that same model, only photo-rendered in different materials and finishes. I have some pretty decent software for rendering 3D models, which allows me to pick the materials/colors for each part in the assembly. This will be a great color coordinating tool when it comes time to paint. The center section on this 3D model is for dimensions only. I will more than likely design a second center section based on these dims, but modeled as seperate, flat parts (resembling laser-cut sheet metal) that will be glued together to form the center section shape. I hope you enjoy! Thanks for looking!
  20. Aftashox...u have my full and undivided attn, go for it man, looking great. Love the brass chassis P/M builds. I'm gonna have to break down and go for a biggie scale build one day!!!
  21. I agree x100. What a beautiful build, finishing this one off is right around the corner and what a sight it will be (already is). Awesome man...just awesome!! Those rims set it off also, nothing but sweet. Great job Chris, my "Hats-off" to ya!!
  22. Thanks for the comment guys, I appreciate it. Chris....Thanks for the comments on the rear end, I don't think I'll be using that one for this car though. It is for the C5-R Vette, so I'll probably scratch a new one based off those dims. I may go ahead and 3D model a new one and go from there, I do have some suspension and running gear planned for this week, we'll see how it goes.
  23. Yeah...THX Brett, great info. I've never printed my own, but I may try using Corel's X5 imaging suite. That is some great software that would be perfect for decal making. Happy modeling all!!!
  24. This is really sweeeet so far, diggin it...and the background in last pic, just coool!
  25. Your body mods are looking great...what a transformation so far, keep it up!!!
