  1. Nice job on this one Curt!

  3. That motor is wicked!!
  4. X2!!! Holy ######! My wife knows better but so help me God.......
  5. Yeah, what happened to this one?
  6. No, not all gassers had straight axles.
  7. I also have the painting DVD but I obviously need to get the other one. The painting one is great.
  8. How about a Community Build Project for abandoned Community Build Projects.
  9. They're definitely going to be useful and inspirational for when I get around to building my '49 Fords.
  10. Here's the rear suspension all put together. And here's how she'll sit....all down in the weeds.
  11. I spent some time workin' on the 'Bird today..... Here you can see my work bench And here you can see where I painted the molded-in exhaust. I used the ol' clicking ball point pen spring trick. You can see the kit-supplied springs versus the spring springs.....
  12. Good to know. Thank you!! I've never used the stuff but I'm about to.
  13. Whatever the case.....that thing is going to be a handful on the street!
  14. I was searching for information on this and found this thread. No one mentioned using Testors Gloss Black. Is that a no-no?
  15. Here's a link to my online album of some of my favorite builds of '49-'50 Fords done by other people. http://public.fotki.com/gpugh1976/other-peoples-builds/49-50-fords/
  16. Aaaaaahhhhhh........... That baby is gorgeous! I LOVE it!!
  17. Well, you've got my attention. This is going to be wild!
  18. Great color combination! Looks awesome!
  19. That may be more disturbing than funny or helpful.
  20. How did your ex-wife destroy your collection? I ask because it's my worst fear. It's probably why I stay married and give her whatever she asks for.
  21. Ok, I'll bite. I've got this Monogram '58 T-bird that's been painted and has been stalled and sitting now for way too long. It's time to get 'er on the bench and finish 'er up. This is the perfect build thread to make sure that happens.
  22. I've never destroyed one but I could have for sure. I'm usually at the bench working away and I'll start letting the cusswords flow like Regan in the Excorcist. My wife will be passing by and will stop and look down at me with eyes as big as golf balls and she'll ask why I don't find a hobby with less stress.........she just doesn't get it.
