  2. I 've been havin' trouble postin' pics on this board, and not on other model car forums. Guess I'll have to try again real soon. Thanks for the reminder, and yes I am a "builder."
  3. Show/contest, take your models and display them and enjoy the event. You'll be glad you did.
  4. While I don't "spoon test" my paints, I have used Krylon Short Cuts Black under Spaz-Stix Mirror Chrome and it worked great.
  5. LOL! It sure is.....................
  6. My wife wouldn't go for that, however I do have lighted good sized (50) car wooden & lighted curio cabinets with glass shelves in both my living room and family rooms.
  7. Automatic headlights have to be switched to the "auto" position to work automatically. If a driver sees ALL the other vehicles with their lights on, the driver should notice that his/her lights are not on.
  8. Did you say "street?" No streets around here you could "tool" around here with that.
  9. Any color other than black or silvers, should have white primer to bring out the true color.
  10. What irked me was that I was driving home this evening, and while it was getting dark out and raining, I noticed several cars without their lights on. What gives???
  11. Google is my friend too, with an endless amount of info.
  12. Probably not, and I forgot about them on purpose. LOL!
  13. Hmmmm, I have one of those convertible kits and also a resin hardtop body for a future project, just don't really know when I'd get to it.
  14. Hmmm., I just may have a '60 Chevy pickup kit somewhere, I'll have to check. Thanks.
  15. Hugo, is that Sassy Grass Green on that Road Runner? Thanks.
  16. Nice builds Anthony, especially that GP.
  17. Candy apple red headers??? I've seen a LOT of headers on real cars over the years and none of them candy apple red. Mostly chrome, stainless steel, black. white, or silver in color. I hope this helps.
  18. I recently picked up the Model Car Garage photo-etched set for the '57 Ford, and found it "pricey" at $22.99 + tax. Then there's the paint for the model kit, the BMF, etc.
  19. Very nice build on that Del Rio, and great color selection. I had to "pass" on buyin' that kit as I have too many projects already. Besides I'm waitin' on the '57 Ford Ranchero kit.
  20. I don't buy kits for the "box art," but for it's subject matter and contents. If I want box art, I'll get out my grandson's crayons.
  21. I buy my issues at my LHS and I get them in great condition.
  22. The basement would be good, as long as it doesn't flood..........................
  23. Hmmm, that doesn't sound good and it is something to think about.
  24. Your project is lookin' real good Jeff, and I like where you're goin' with it also.
  25. I too prefer to store my un-built as well as built model kits in a temperature (heat & air) controlled environment. Do you have a spare closet or spare bedroom you could store them in, or no?
