I 've been havin' trouble postin' pics on this board, and not on other model car forums. Guess I'll have to try again real soon. Thanks for the reminder, and yes I am a "builder."
My wife wouldn't go for that, however I do have lighted good sized (50) car wooden & lighted curio cabinets with glass shelves in both my living room and family rooms.
Automatic headlights have to be switched to the "auto" position to work automatically. If a driver sees ALL the other vehicles with their lights on, the driver should notice that his/her lights are not on.
What irked me was that I was driving home this evening, and while it was getting dark out and raining, I noticed several cars without their lights on. What gives???
Candy apple red headers??? I've seen a LOT of headers on real cars over the years and none of them candy apple red. Mostly chrome, stainless steel, black. white, or silver in color. I hope this helps.
I recently picked up the Model Car Garage photo-etched set for the '57 Ford, and found it "pricey" at $22.99 + tax. Then there's the paint for the model kit, the BMF, etc.
Very nice build on that Del Rio, and great color selection. I had to "pass" on buyin' that kit as I have too many projects already. Besides I'm waitin' on the '57 Ford Ranchero kit.
I too prefer to store my un-built as well as built model kits in a temperature (heat & air) controlled environment. Do you have a spare closet or spare bedroom you could store them in, or no?
