  1. Hmmm, I thought that I had seen one of those kits go for $35 at a club meeting 'bout 3 weeks ago. Nice kit too!
  2. Really, as there were a few other vendors that did the same, and had someone else sell their products.
  3. Send the adjuster a photo of the damage, as that's how people who keep up with the "times" do it. I'm not one of them though.
  4. What pleased me today was spending time with a lot of my family.
  5. Very nice build on that Model A Paul, and great color choice as well.
  6. Hmmmm, I'm not in the "football mode" as of yet, as it'll take me 'bout another month. The car show/cruise night season is winding down and so is the baseball season. I don't want to rush into things, especially anything that has to do with winter.
  7. There was a guy a few years ago (who has passed on since) selling stuff from Perry's Resin at the Toledo show and that's the ONLY way I would buy any of his products. He had someone else selling his products so the feds couldn't catch up to him for not paying taxes on his sales. At least, that's the way I had heard it.
  8. I really don't think that any of the model companies need any of us modelers to TELL then how to run their company. If someone really wants to "have a voice" in future production choices, perhaps they would like to "buy into the company?"
  9. Guess you "ticked" him off Joe, no?
  10. Sorry to hear that Scott, as that must have been quite a mess. I hope things work out for you. I remember when our water heater let go, but the mess was in our laundry room with a concrete floor under the carpeting so we were lucky there.
  11. I believe that Moebius is doin' the '65 Comet.
  12. I'm in no hurry for the fall season as the car shows and cruise nights are winding down here in September. There are a couple of car shows next month though. Guess I'll be doin' more model building soon along with rakin' leaves.
  13. After 9/11 I had to work at the Navy base, and when I drove up they were carrying guns and checked out my truck. I'm sure their weapons were loaded.
  14. I always polish first, and then apply decals.
  15. Lookin' good Ken, and lookin' forward to seein' the end result. I just sold one of those kits as I'm "thinnin' the herd."
  16. I would've used WHITE primer under the white color coat, and not grey. I only use grey primer if I'm spraying silvers or black color coats, and white primer under ALL other colors.
  17. Nice job on that tractor, real nice!
  18. I flipped through the mag the other day at the magazine rack, and I'm not buyin' it. Too much patina for me.
  19. Very nice project Tommy and I'm lookin' forward to seein' it finished. I have a Modelhaus '68 Coronet kit in my stash and hopefully I'll get to it some day, as I just love dem Mopars!
  20. $9.99??? I remember when car magazines were 25 cents, of course that was a few years ago, quite a few years ago.
  21. That's NOT good, not good at all.
  22. Very nice pair of GM models Doug.
  23. What a cool lookin' camper, and I hope that it works out well for you. I've done my share of camping as a Boy Scout, and also a Boy Scout leader. I don't care to drive long distances any more, and I can't see haulin' my "bedroom" around either. I guess that my campin' days are over.
  24. I believe that the Model Car Garage offers two different track noses & grilles.
  25. What irked me today is that I went to a cruise night tonight and it's getting darker earlier. This seems to irk me every year 'bout this time. I really think that we ought to have 'bout another month of summer in the year, and a month less of winter. Hmmmmm?
