  1. With the arrival of the '65 Satellite and the Ford '29 A Roadster kits due in my mailbox soon, hopefully I'm done buyin' for awhile. I would like the '65 Comet kit, but that won't be on the shelves 'til next year.
  2. There's ALWAYS gonna be criticism and feedback as that is a "given." Some people can't leave well enough alone, and some people can't build models 'cause they're too busy complaining.
  3. What did I get today? My VISA bill, ouch!
  4. While I know other builders who will occasionally build a model for other people, and some builders who often build models for other people who would pay to have them built, I'm NOT one of them. I simply tell them that I don't have enough time to build models for myself, yet alone someone else, and I stick to it.
  5. Awesome lookin' job on that Satellite so far Jason, and of course I just love dem Mopars!
  6. I'm sure the Pontiac will be a great seller Dave. Do you have any news on the upcoming Comet kit, or no?
  7. I don't think that it'll work for Olds engine gold as my day owned a few Oldsmobile's., as it would be too dark like you said. I was lucky enough to snag three cans of the Turbine Bronze paint, and hopefully I'll use them soon.
  8. Looked like a great show Tom and thanks for the great pics. I know of a couple guys that attended that show and noticed their models in your pics. I'll be interested in hearing how they liked the show.
  9. Hmmm, I haven't opened my '71 Charger kit as yet as a LOT of my kits are still factory sealed. Thanks for the "heads up."
  10. Wow, measuring the port spacing is quite serious. If I took this hobby that seriously, I'd take that kit. place it on the floor and step on it with my foot.
  11. Yeah Frank, back in 2008 (?) I danced around the idea of buying a '65 Satellite, and in a couple of weeks or so it was gone. What you see for sale today, might not be there tomorrow. I then looked for 'bout a year before I found my "ride."
  12. Drivers sitting at an entrance to parking spaces and not pulling out as I was waiting for him to. Of course he also had a phone to his ear too. Some people are WAY to busy or stupid to be sitting in a car behind the steering wheel.
  13. VERY nice job on that Futura build Jesse.
  14. Awesome, congrats!
  15. Real nice build on that '57 Allan, as I should get back to workin' on the one I had started awhile back.
  16. My doc sent me to do some therapy for awhile, and I have my annual physical with my primary doc next month as well. I told the docs that I'm on a mission, to collect as many pension and social security checks as I can.
  17. Wow Richard, that must have been hard to get used to. Sorry to hear that you had to let the car go also, as I would surely miss mine if I ever had to give it up.
  18. Move, you really don't like it here in the Midwest do you Gerry? Hate to see you go.
  19. Pete, I do know what it's like to have to rely on other people to get around as 4 years ago I had to "hang up" my keys for 6 1/2 months because of an health issue. Stop cryin' as everybody has troubles at some time or other. Some troubles more than yours, and some less.
  20. Another Mopar build Gerry? It must be contagious, no? I should talk as I need to work on some Mopars myself. I really liked the way your previous build, the Dart turned out.
  21. Looks like an easy conversion.
  22. Very nice build on that Bird Derick, as I've been a fan of Hooters restaurants for over 20 years and have visited more than 3 dozen different locations. Many of them I've been to umpteen times. Maybe I'll get to build the Kulwicki Bird that's in my "stash" one of these days.
