I'm "old school" and I prefer a printed copy of any magazine. As far as car magazines go, their content has less and less appeal to me and I get very few. I do enjoy shopping/ buying and reading Hot Rod and Super Stock mags from the 60's though.
Tom, I hope that you enjoy your hot tub, as we sure enjoyed ours for 12 years when we had it. I enjoyed it most when there was snow on the ground all around the hot tub and steam was rising from the water. So crank it up to 104 degrees and grab a beer, life is good.
Yes Harry, good luck in getting your eye problems fixed and get well soon. I had major eye problems back in 2011 and had to hang up my car keys for 6 1/2 months.
This hobby is supposed to be FUN, and keeping a ledger on how much I've spent on this hobby since the late 50's is not part of it. I have better things to do with my time.
Looks like the Speedwagon is another kit I won't be buying either as I''m really tryin' to buy less and build more. So far the only upcoming kits I'm really considering buying right now are the '65 Satellite and the '29 Model A roadster kit.
I too send food pics to my buddy in the Denver area who is a Chicago native, and he used to bring home on the airplane beef sandwiches and hot dogs when he came back to Chicago to visit his mom.
Nice job on that Polara Tommy, and I've seen the Color Me Gone car at the Chrysler Museum and that decal is on the outside of the car and not under the hood. I just love dem Mopars.
With ALL the unbuilt kits that many of us have, it is really hard to grasp the fact that many modelers/collectors are "chompin' at the bit" for the newest release to be on the hobby shop shelves. It's INSANE!
