  1. What's the matter with posting photos now?
  2. Real nice job on both the Bonneville and the boat Bill.
  3. The Muscle Car and Corvette Nationals Car Show is THIS weekend Nov. 21 & 22 at the Stevens Convention Center in Rosemont, Il in the Chicagoland area, and it's a show "not to be missed." See you there!
  4. I owned a '64 Chevy Stepside back in the late 70's early 80's and I think that photo you posted is really cool Greg.
  5. I followed the directions from the Ace-Garageguy using Photobucket and it works great!
  6. Being old enough to receive it is not bad, as a lot of people never get the chance to get old. It's a privilege that not everybody gets.
  7. Congrats "old timer" as I look forward to that check every month, and have been for awhile.
  8. My mechanic didn't get back to me this afternoon 'bout my car, and a friend of mine lost his son to heroin. My father-in-law is also in hospice. Hopefully things will get better soon.
  9. I sometimes use thinned gloss white over the chrome and it does look better than the chromed lenses.
  10. I'm a "rattle can man" myself, and I do have a few Color Me Gone kits as they are great for parts. If I were to build one (someday?) I too would just use a dark blue from Testors or Tamiya as I use lacquers.
  11. Worth the drive? I've been drivin' for over 50 years, and sitting in a car for many hours doesn't appeal to me anymore.
  12. "If" I were to build NASCARS, it would be from the late 50's to early 60's era. And I do have a Hooters Thunderbird kit that I would like to build someday also, but I wouldn't bet on it.
  13. 1969 is one of my most favorite years for cars, however I also like the fins, the chrome, and the two/triple tone paint jobs on the cars of the 50's very much.
  14. My better half asked me what I wanted for Christmas, and I reminded her that the car is gonna need to be repaired, and I'm also gonna need tires for the truck. So the chance of me getting a Ferrari for Christmas is slim to none.
  15. Very nice build Mitch, the next time you get a red plastic body, spray it with silver, then your primer, and then your color coats. No bleed through. I just love dem Mopars!
  16. What please me today was that I had started my Christmas shopping.
  17. Very cool build Bob as I've seen a number of jet dragsters run on the strip. I would love to see a video of your dragster "in action" also.
  18. The girls that get into "the look" are great as long as they're not covered with tattoos.
  19. The girls that get into th
  20. I don't have a list of future purchases as my "stash" is pretty well where I want it to be, especially at the rate I build (finish) kits.
  21. I spent a few hours today cleaning gutters, putting away the grille, the rocking chair, my grandsons slide and sandbox. I also got the snow-thrower out of the shed and into the garage. It started on the first pull and was a lot more eager than I am for that white stuff that will be arriving a lot sooner than I like to think about it. Yes I'm already lookin' forward to spring. LOL!
  22. Wow, while I don't have room for 1/18th scale cars, that Imperial sure is a beauty.
  23. Well so what if the Lawman kit is a little late, I'm not out of un-built model kits yet, are you?
  24. Seems like the trend here as well, lots of NASCAR kits at "giveaway" prices.
