While I don't air-brush, I know a LOT of builders who do and know that many of them use Bob's Paint, etc. and have seen many terrific paint jobs using his paints. He can be reached at: gdahl1@wi.rr.com. He is a great guy to deal with.
What pleased me today is, that 'after I had piled up and shredded a bunch of leaves I decided to take my ride for a spin and my wife decided to join me. We stopped for lunch but I really couldn't speed or lay rubber as that doesn't make her happy, and the police were out today as well. Another time.
This is a mid-60's dragster that I built awhile ago and was inspired by a photo that I took of the "Beast from the East" that came to race here at Great Lakes Dragaway. I used a Tommy Ivo dragster for the basis of this build.
I have a nice Model A Coupe resin body somewhere in my stash and I haven't even opened the box on my Model A Roadster kit, so I really can wait for Revell's next Model A release.
I try to use as little primer, color coats, and clear coats as I can to avoid "paint buildup" which will hide some of the details. There's no reason for five coats of primer, 12 color coats, and 16 clear coats.
I'll bet that you'll receive your order long before you finish all the un-built kits in your stash. I've nothing but praise for the quality and service when dealing with Modelhaus.
Most of the time I have used Devcon 5-Minute Epoxy over the years and like it a lot. It has a strong bond and dries clear. It's great for gluing in windshields and also for different materials like plug wires, and guitar strings for antennas and for "pinning" smaller items like outside mirrors. I don't have to take a "repair kit" with me anymore when I bring my models to display at club meetings and NNLs.
