  1. You're right Frank, Bob's Paints are lacquer.
  2. Nice fabrication job there Ace, real nice.
  3. Please keep the snow there, and many thanks!
  4. While I don't air-brush, I know a LOT of builders who do and know that many of them use Bob's Paint, etc. and have seen many terrific paint jobs using his paints. He can be reached at: gdahl1@wi.rr.com. He is a great guy to deal with.
  5. BINGO Carl, you nailed it. I used to "hang out" at a restaurant back in the 70's called the Prime Minister.
  6. Very nice "boulevard barge" Randy as I had owned a couple of Coupe de Villes back in the 70's.
  7. What pleased me today is, that 'after I had piled up and shredded a bunch of leaves I decided to take my ride for a spin and my wife decided to join me. We stopped for lunch but I really couldn't speed or lay rubber as that doesn't make her happy, and the police were out today as well. Another time.
  8. This is a mid-60's dragster that I built awhile ago and was inspired by a photo that I took of the "Beast from the East" that came to race here at Great Lakes Dragaway. I used a Tommy Ivo dragster for the basis of this build.
  9. Cool photo.
  10. Who was the person that said: My tastes are very simple. I like only the very best?
  11. The Phil Bonner Daddy Warbucks '65 Falcon ran that set up before he switched to fuel injection, if I'm not mistaken.
  12. Here's a "low buck" gas dragster that I built a few years ago.................................................
  13. Great job on that "pony car" Bill as all your builds seem to come out excellent.
  14. I have a nice Model A Coupe resin body somewhere in my stash and I haven't even opened the box on my Model A Roadster kit, so I really can wait for Revell's next Model A release.
  15. Very nice lookin' ride Tom. Enjoy it as it's NO fun in the garage. Congrats and good luck with your new ride.
  16. I try to use as little primer, color coats, and clear coats as I can to avoid "paint buildup" which will hide some of the details. There's no reason for five coats of primer, 12 color coats, and 16 clear coats.
  17. I'll bet that you'll receive your order long before you finish all the un-built kits in your stash. I've nothing but praise for the quality and service when dealing with Modelhaus.
  18. I try to work on multiple projects at once, however sometimes I will stop working on other projects to finish a certain build.
  19. I recently painted The Red Baron using Tamiya Mica Red with a coat or two of Tamiya Clear Red over it, and it looks great.
  20. I find a lot near the magazine racks, or you can hold a magazine open over your cart and watch them just fall out.
  21. Your build is lookin' good Dan. I haven't even taken my Satellite kit out of the box yet. Oh well, I still love dem Mopars!
  22. I've been usin' those for years to mix my epoxy on. They're free and they work great!
  23. I'd check with B-N-L Resins for those items.
  24. Most of the time I have used Devcon 5-Minute Epoxy over the years and like it a lot. It has a strong bond and dries clear. It's great for gluing in windshields and also for different materials like plug wires, and guitar strings for antennas and for "pinning" smaller items like outside mirrors. I don't have to take a "repair kit" with me anymore when I bring my models to display at club meetings and NNLs.
