  1. You mean that they couldn't just "buff out" your old Hyundai? Good luck with your new one Kennyboy.
  2. I've spent all my winters here in the Midwest and NEVER had any need for a 4WD vehicle or so called "off road" vehicle. Glad to hear your practice went well today and hopefully it IS a good omen for months to follow. Hopefully the weather will get warmer as well.
  3. That looks like a great project as I love that body style. I just loathe the looks of the '59 though.
  4. Cool video at the beginning of this thread Greg as I had to "crank up" the volume. All those cars are big bucks and belong in the "high rent district" except for the Camaro and Mustang as everybody who wants one of those already has one.
  5. A lot of people buy so called "off road" vehicles and the only time they're really off road is when the vehicle is in their driveway. What a waste of money. But the car dealers like it, and the manufacturers love it!
  6. Leno is unemployed because he wants to be. Besides, I think the term is retired.
  7. You can have it "all"" Craig, be my guest. And please keep it by you, thanks.
  8. Glad I don't have neighbors like you Harry, Packer fans and guys that mow the snow. LOL!
  9. Can;t you just "fudge it" with the Slixx decals?
  10. None here Harry, and I'm goin' outside to photograph our flowering crab apple tree this morning. Guess you'll have to keep your Impala in the garage a bit longer, no?
  11. I noticed that Hobbytown USA store in Lake in the Hills has a nice track, actually I was in the neighborhood and stopped with my better half and enjoyed browsing the entire store.
  12. Keep the frost by you Craig, as my better half already did her spring planting. Thanks!
  13. Wow, cool projects Bob, REAL cool! I just love dem Mopars!
  14. Scott, I just picked up the Red Baron in the collector "lunchbox" and I do hope to build it this year.
  15. It's still the "S" word of showers Richard. LOL!
  16. We also got a good soaking last night, and the good thing is that I was able to cut the lawn yesterday afternoon for the first time this year. My 20 year old Toro still works, yay!
  17. Sorry to hear that Kennyboy, and I hope that you can get it fixed soon or replaced.
  18. Sorry to hear that Pete as I know that wild/brush fires are very common in California. Not a good thing when a house goes up in flames, and probably just as bad as a tornado leveling a house.
  19. All the later Revell '41 Willys kits from 2001 and later which includes Big John, SW&C, and also the Pitman Willys are pretty much the same except for the decals and I believe that they all have a photo etched grille as well. The '41 Willys Street Rod that was issued shortly after the Big John kit does not have the photo etched grille.
  20. Daily structure? I'm glad that it's you that needs it as I've been doing REAL good without one all these years. I also have plenty of projects when I get around to doing them. Seeing as how I never catch up on all my projects, I'll never run out of things to do. Life is short so always buy your favorite ice cream, on sale or not.
  21. Well, were you able to fix the opener?
  22. Better the Denver area than the Midwest, in my book.
  23. The "S" Word could also mean summer. no?
  24. April showers? In June of 2004 it seemed like it was raining the whole month that year, as I remember it well.
  25. I hafta agree with Pete, as eventually you'll have to "pop" for a new one.
