  1. You guys gotta remember whether it's Moebius, Revell, Round 2, etc. that no matter what kits you guys would like to see them make: They're not gonna please everyone, it just ain't gonna happen.
  2. Those garage door openers don't last forever Harry. You may need to "pop" for a new one.
  3. I tend to believe that Revell is goin' to be around long after we're all gone.
  4. Wow, that Imperial is the "cats meow!"
  5. WHY would anyone want to work or start a business if they had a considerable amount of money? Are they afraid of boredom? When I retired I had and still have NO intentions of working. I've been there and done that already. I think that I average 'bout three boring days per year as I'm really busy.
  6. I think that I would buy my daughter & husband a new house and vehicle, pay for my grandson's future college education, pay off my church's mortgage, and do more traveling, if I ever came into a large sum of ca$h. It's only money.
  7. Wow, those are scary premiums for health care with no dental or eye care either. Sorry to hear that.
  8. The JoHan '64 Polara "Recharged" kit had the fenderwell headers and they are for a wedge motor and not a hemi.
  9. In the morning??? Oh no!
  10. Thanks Don for bringing it to my attention, and I've got the program set to record tonight.
  11. Will you be makin' the SLAM meetings on Thursday nights Kerry, or no?
  12. I hafta agree that was a good point that Ace brought up. I've been usin' magnetos lately.
  13. It takes ALL kinds to make this world go 'round Tom, get used to it.
  14. The waitresses at the Hooters and Tilted Kilt restaurants are "HOT" topics. Bring a fire extinguisher.
  15. I'll pass, as all my big scale engines are Mopars. Thanks for postin'.
  16. What good does it do to wire a model car engine in the correct firing order? A lot of lookers don't know the correct firing order and the model car WON'T start anyway.
  17. My niece has an illuminated keyboard on her laptop and I really liked it. Looks like my next one will have that feature.
  18. Real nice job on that Caddy Al, as I owned one like that in the late 70's, only no sunroof and a red interior.
  19. Looks like I'll be chasin' the Toro again real soon, but this time it'll be the lawnmower. YAY!
  20. Nice build on that Willys pickup.
  21. Check your "other" pockets Harry. LOL!
  22. When we were buyin' the car for my wife a couple of years ago, the salesman said that it had 350 horsepower, and I had to clue him in and tell him that the "Sho" had 350 h.p. and not our car. Don't they have an APP for that?
  23. Al's Hobby Shop has been on a "downhill slide" for a number of years and that's why I stopped going, especially since it was a good "hike" from my house as well, and I can't justify the gas just to go there and "look around." The same goes for Model Empire and Greenfield News & Hobby in Wisconsin, I used to take a spin up there and check out their stock every now and then, but not anymore at today's gas prices. Des Plaines Hobby Shop is okay, but I don't get there too often. Ron's Mundelein Hobbies has a good stock of model car kits, and of course it's big on trains also.
  24. I paint the clear coats the day after the color coats and never had a problem.
