  1. That scoop is also available at Competition Resins.
  2. Yes Harry, lots of GOOD news.
  3. You only go around ONCE in life Harry, so enjoy it! If you don't, you're cheating yourself.
  4. Wow Steven, that Olds is awesome! I first learned how to drive in a '60 Olds 88 4-Door and I have the Modelhaus '60 Olds convert kit somewhere in my "stash." Hopefully I'll get around to building it someday, of course that's what I say about a lot of my kits.
  5. Lookin' good Gene, real good. I hope to take pics of mine as soon as the rainy weather breaks and post them. I've been havin' trouble postin' pics on here lately though.
  6. I still have mail to go out, so 10 booklets of stamps is NOT obsessive. I could even get more and use them on my Christmas cards, hmmmmm.
  7. Burgers are not good for me? Anything that I like is probably not good for me. And the simple truth is that a person can eat healthy, or eat garbage and they're still going to die.
  8. Only ONE sheet??? I was thinkin' of ten to start with. And thanks Greg for the info.
  9. I have a set of them as well, and hope that I use them soon as they do look great!
  10. Nice build on that Mopar, but an open trailer would be more correct for the time period. From what I remember cars were either "flat towed" or on an open trailer back in the mid-60's.
  11. Well naturally their driving habits are going to follow them there. Do you think that after 50+ years of driving, that they're gonna change their driving habits????????????????
  12. That's why I enjoy driving alone most of the time Joe............................................................................
  13. That kit has one terrible lookin' body. I can't believe that people would actually buy that kit.
  14. That's "classified info" Sgt. Friday and I can't answer questions like that in an "ongoing investigation."
  15. I love where the woman is at the car wash near the end of the movie and supposedly sees "her" car coming out of the wash, and says "my car" and then faints.
  16. Don't be sorry Nick, I replied to your PM with the info.
  17. Great photos Mike and awesome builds as well. BTW, how many models were on the tables, does anyone know? Thanks.
  18. I was out and about with my better half this morning and I meant to stop at the hobby shop for some paint that I needed, sure enough we came home and I forgot about the hobby shop. That meant another trip as I needed the paint and the shop is closed on Mondays. Bummer!!!
  19. Nick, I thought that I had told you previously that there is a model car club that meets in Crystal Lake on the second Saturday ofd each month, no?
  20. I had heard that the release dates for the upcoming Moebius kits will be sooner than when I have all my current kits built. Also, for those lookin' for the '68 Dodge Coronet, I had bought one from Modelhaus last year and should move it up on my build list, as it looks really sweet even in resin. Of course if you really need the styrene kit, I'm sure that some kit manufacture will produce it before h#@l freezes over.
  21. Welcome to the forum Mike, as it's a good place to be.
  22. When I was out East last fall, I believe they were called Roundy's. We do call them Roundabouts here though.
  23. While you make some good points Mark, it's still a BAD bet to get into a brick & mortar hobby shop these days. The odds are "stacked" against you.
  24. Guess I'd better "pick up the pace" and build more to make room for some upcoming Moebius kits.
  25. Did you say '65 Satellite??? HOLY SMOKES, that would be awesome! I missed out on a 1:1 Satellite 'bout 6 years ago as I didn't act quickly enough, and it got away from me. Of course the 1/25th scale kit is MUCH more affordable.
