I was in Hawaii about this time last year and it was great, then it was off to Bora Bora and Tahiti which was even better.

I really don't need anything, but I can tell that the Toledo NNL/Swap Meet is going to cost me money!

The kit is in 1/25th scale and this time around it will have clear windows instead of the green tinted glass that was in the last issue.

The swap meet there has been going on for years and is one of my favorite meets. Lots of kits, Hot Wheels, die-casts, parts, great people, and camaraderie.

Nice job on the Double Dragster kit as I have one in the works on my bench right now and I should drag out my airbrush someday as I haven't used it in years.

I was at the DuPage Swap Meet in Wheaton, Illinois today and it was a great show, great guys, and great food as we stopped at the Tilted Kilt for some chow afterwards. I picked up the new Hudson kit for a friend of mine and a re-issue of Monograms '30 Ford Coupe for myself. I had to curb my spending as I'll be in Toledo in two weeks.

I'll need to get one of those Chryslers also for my stash.

To date I have NEVER been on evil-bay and from a lot of the stories that I have heard over the years, it seems like I'm not really missing anything. Seems to work for me.

Yeah Mike I usually make that show both in Feb. & Sept. and I'll be there this Sunday. Hoping to curb my spending there as I'll be at the Toledo NNL & swap meet next month also. The DuPage show has always been one of my favorites as I see a lot of builders that I have met over the past 35 years.
