  1. This may have been mentioned before but staying on the truck theme, how about 57-60 Ford trucks. It would seem to be a lot of possibilities there.
  2. That's why I asked if you meant the IPMS Nationals as I was sure they were in Columbus. A group from Toronto IPMS and Peel Scale Modelers have taken a bus tour down there. I thought there would be more coverage too.
  3. Do you mean the IPMS convention? If so there is slight coverage under the Contest and Shows Category.
  4. Keep in mind, no matter what we wish for, Moebius has chosen topics that they can get more mileage from. They picked the Hudson's as they could also be done as stock car racers. I'm sure that's the thoughts with the 65 Plymouths, the 61 Pontiacs and the upcoming Comets. All can have a spin off/Model King release as some type of race car. Hopefully they will also choose subjects that can be spun off as wagons etc as Revell has done with the 57 Ford.
  5. That car is a combination of 2 cars my Dad had. He had a 69 CS in that odd green colour and he had a 74 In blue. Learning how to drive in that 74 was like learning to drive while piloting the USS Enterprise. When you were backing up there was a whole lot of car behind you.
  6. Great to see one of these built up. Thanks.
  7. Yep, there it is. But it used to a nice little list at the bottom of the main page, I could see at a glance if my friends were online. Now I have to go through 6 pages of members to see who's online at the moment? Again, I don't mean to be complaining but I don't see how that is an improvement.
  8. Yes, I have the same 2 questions as those were items I used frequently. I've also noticed some stating how pretty it looks but I find it dull greyish not at all clear like the last version. My Safari browser is completely up to date so I'm not sure how this is better as it is harder to read and dull to look at. But I guess if it's working better for others and it's attracting younger folk then it is good.
  9. We have 2 threads going on this topic, but Anthony I asked the same question on the other thread. I didn't have a long list but it will take awhile to find then again. I find this update greyish. Not as clean and crisp as the old one.
  10. Happy Birthday, Tom! Hope you had a great day and got some hobby related gifts.
  11. It can get interesting about the wildlife. About 3 weeks ago I was heading southbound into Barrie, Ontario, the nearest city to me, when the traffic slowed to almost a stop. I was rather surprised as it was early on a Sunday morning and the cottage country exodus hadn't really started yet. Anyway it turned out there were about 4 adult geese and around 30 goslings running down the slow lane. Just after I got past the raging horde it came on the radio to be careful because of them and that someone had been called to try to get them out of there.
  12. Ooohhh! Skip, I like that answer! He has many interesting rides. Definitely I would lean towards Duesenberg/Cord/Packard etc from the mid to late 30's.
  13. Very nicely done, Shay! Love seeing a stock Model A done up. Looks real good in that colour combo. Kudos!
  14. The tires have just enough weathering. I vote real as that would be hard to do in scale.
  15. Welcome to the forum Dany. Hope you enjoy your time here. Lots of good information to be found.
  16. Very cool! Thanks for sharing this.
  17. Now you're talking! I voted O but would be happy with any of them. They would would go well next to my TS (Town Sedan).
  18. Really cool stuff! Thanks for sharing this, Russell. Great info and history.
  19. Too bad Hinchcliffe won't be there. Glad he survived that accident.
  20. It's looking lovely. Just for future reference if you decide to build another stock Model A. What appeared to be mold lines between the upper and lower cowl area (ahead of the doors) is actually the separation between the gas tank and the lower half of the body. You can see the separation line in this picture of a Tudor (above the red flower sticker.) As I said your build is coming along beautifully, just a hint for next time. Of course if the separation line is there just ignore me.....
  21. I really like that one. Nice job ageing that little truck. Kudos!
  22. Very cool! The Aluma Coupe does seem a natural for the salt flats.
  23. 46 for me. I find it scary that Harry got 50 and considers himself completely balanced...... After 9 years on this board I may have to disagree.....
  24. Happened in Canada as there is a Petro Canada station in the vid. Too short to tell if someone stopped.
  25. Wow! Sweet Lambo! Clean build and lots of decal work. Kudos!
