  1. My Belvedere is very warped as well. It was really jammed in the box. I wrote to them and even offered to pay the postage. The response I got was, build the model. When you put it all together it should straighten the body out. If it doesn't, let us know and we'll take you up on your offer to pay the postage. That's the jist of it anyway. Like i'm going to go to all the work of prepping, priming, painting a body then assembling it all just to find out - nope it's not going to straighten out.
  2. Hoping to do it as a bucket list item. Hmmmm..... Drive to Jersey, do NNL East then drive across country to GSL? Wild & Crazy!
  3. The one I added to the list was a 31 Model A pickup. While I would love a stock one, a hot rod kit off the new 29/31 kit would be great too.
  4. I have to agree with Tom, RMR (Race Motor Replicas) with Steve Zimmerman selling those fantastic wheels.
  5. Yep, picked up a Vette wide body kit from C1 at NNL East. Looks very nice. Also picked up metalizer powder and VW Caddy kit. Great people to deal with!
  6. Yeah, Brother! I'm looking forward to what the guys in DRAG are bringing to the show. Wait! Something about that doesn't sound right..... See you in Jersey, Kris.
  7. Beautiful Hudson! Kudos!
  8. I'll be there. On Friday, two hour drive to Toronto. Pick a couple of suspects up. Drive 2 more hours to Kingston. Pick another suspect up and another 7 or so hours and we'll be at the Ramada. I can't wait! Look forward to seeing everyone in Jersey.
  9. So much easier than modelling? I could spend years with a pencil and still not draw anything more than deformed stick men. At least when I build a model it comes looking something like a car. You,sir, have talent. Kudos!

    40 Ford

Very nice mild custom 40 Ford. Really like the colour combo. Kudos!
  11. Stunning! Absolutely stunning! Kudos!
  12. Happy Easter Stephen and everyone here! Hope it is a quiet joyful Easter for everyone.
  13. The one being towed has chrome trim rings. The parked one does not.
  14. David, Thanks for letting us know this. I didn't buy any of his stuff at the show last year. I intend to rectify that this year. LOL!
  15. Wow! You don't see these posted too often. You did a great job with this kit. Kudos!
  16. Really like the colour, different than the usual Subaru blue. Nice clean build.
  17. I prefer to thinking of them embracing the Force and going to the right side. That said, I was shocked to read this yesterday as they have such a close alliance with Hendrick's operation. But like Andy said, basically follow the money. There must have been a pile of money offered up by Ford. I'm a bit surprised the Ford alliance is with Roush instead of Penske who's fielded the most successful Fords over the last couple of years.
  18. O.K. Never heard of Meeplemart. I keep checking Wheels and Wings and Hornet Hobbies hoping to find it but nada so far. Will keep an eye out for Wheels and Wings to get it in. Thanks for the info.
  19. Great build of that GTX, Kyle. Fine job for a fellow just getting into cars but the experience from your other model building certainly shows. Just curious. How did you get Stynylrez? I've not been able to find a Canadian distributor. I would like to try it after number of glowing reports in the YouTube modelling community.
  20. Not meaning to be a smart mouth but there is a whole pinned topic on this in the diorama section already.
  21. I plan to be there. Was an excellent swap meet last year.
  22. Welcome, Craig. You have some great builds there. Love the Star Trek builds as well as the automotive ones.
  23. I've been wanting their 57 Mercury pickup. I had hoped to get it at NNL Nationals 2015 but they hadn't brought one with them. Like an idiot I didn't fill out an order form at the show. I've been meaning to put an order in for it hoping to have it at NNL East. Now even if they have one in stock they won't be at NNL East. I'm hoping I get another chance but for now I am slapping myself across the head for being an idiot and not filling out the form in Sylvania in October.
  24. I keep calling them Nissan Pukes!
  25. Wow! Amazing amount of work and detail into this build. Excellent weathering too. Kudos!
