  1. Cool! Thanks for the pics, Greg.
  2. Welcome to the forum, John. Lots of good information here.
  3. Nice clean build of that Torino.
  4. I don't think he does but Elm City Hobbies in Canada carries the Scale Finishes paint and I believe he will ship overseas.
  5. By late 30 and into 31 they were trying to make their cars look more stylish in order to compete with Chevy and others. The Fordor sedan, the Vicky, the Station Wagon, the 400-A and others no longer had exterior sun visors. Instead they had funky interior sun visors that pretty much swing down into your face instead of swinging toward the windshield like modern cars.
  6. Welcome to the forum Brad. Hope you pick up the information you need here. Lots of knowledgeable people to help out. Don't know where in Ontario you're from but the Group 25 Toronto Model Car Show (contest) is this Saturday. You might be interested in dropping by if it's within reach of you. See Contest and Shows section for more info.
  7. Only a week to go! Looking forward to seeing everyone & the bargains and the builds.
  8. Very sharp Merc Woody. Really like the colour you chose.

    D Sport Copen

What a cute little race car! Probably would be tons of fun on the race track.
  10. Gee, Danno, I thought it was too hot down there for you guys to ever get a Cold .
  11. That is a real nice Focus. Looks like a nice clean build. Have to love Tamiya rally cars.
  12. Well, Chris it may have been rushed but that is a pretty sharp looking Porsche to me. Kudos.
  13. It may not be a Cobra but it is Ford powered!
  14. Hey! It's September 1st! This show will be here before we know it. Looking forward to seeing everyone.
  15. Nice little haul there, Jonathan. HLJ?
  16. I know he has a Facebook site that he sells from.
  17. Wow! Harry! Just read this post. Thoughts and prayers are with you. We need you healthy and strong as who else would herd the cats in this asylum?
  18. Bill, the website is still alive so I guess they are. The Sunoco Trans Am decal is no longer listed though.
  19. Just wondering; should Modelhaus still be on the list? Since they've officially stopped taking orders?
  20. I believe Slixx make (made?) decals for the Sunoco Camaro. Although the yellow is more fluorescent which I believe was correct for that car. MCW also had to paint for it as well.
  21. Sweet little pickup! Nice clean build.
  22. I have no tattoos or piercings. I figure I came into the world with all the holes and markings I needed. I have a dumb phone for work and a dumb flip phone for my own use. I turn the flip phone on about once a month for my trip to the club meeting in Toronto. That's if I remember to turn it on. Then chances are I'll forget to turn it off and the next time I go to use it, it's dead. If I had a choice between the cell phone and the land line I would gladly give up the cell phone. I have a very limited presence on Facebook mainly for my club's page. I'm not a Twit. I have a definite YouTube presence. Which confounds people that I put myself out there but not on any other type of social media. I don't know, I can't explain it myself. Excuse me, I went to Toronto yesterday for a club meeting and I just remembered I forgot to turn my phone off when I got home......
  23. Looking forward to making a trip south to attend this show. Hope to meet a number of people I've met through YouTube as well as other on line model car building forums.
  24. So sorry to hear of Paul's passing. Condolences and prayers to his family and friends.
  25. His resin bodies are excellent. I have a couple and I am impressed with them. And I want to get more wagons as well as the VW kits from him. I look forward to future developments as well.
