  1. Yes, just read this as well. Was going to start a separate topic when I decided to check this one. Undoubtedly someone will start another thread. Hopefully things continue as planned. Hopefully maybe even Moebius will grow a little? We'll see.
  2. For what its worth RMR models does a resin stock 37 Chevy Pick up. Doesn't help you find the article but could be another way to achieve the goal.
  3. All I can go by is what the fellow running the store that day told us. He had indicated that they were mainly doing only the military/plane colours. Happy to see the metallics, micas and pearls in that list.
  4. I just picked up the 3 blacks from Wheels &Wings but haven't tried them yet. According to fellow at the store the plans so far are more for the plane and armour colours rather than the colours we like to use to paint cars with (beyond the basics).
  5. I must admit that even when I was involved I was never first one there given the 2 hour drive.
  6. Less than a week away now. Woohoo!
  7. Is that a 1/25 scale Lincoln Continental resin kit on top there? If so, from which caster?
  8. Wow! Look at that concentration, no doubt aided by the unicorn. I'm sure she will look back fondly, years from now, about building models with you. Kudos.
  9. A lot of us have been getting similar cutters from Wave. We reference the same thing "Like cutting through butter". Also there is a set of cutters called Godhand nippers.
  10. Yes, I know what you mean. It seems like we spend 6 months of the year 'hoping it don't snow' so we can get to events and meetings etc. Hope to see you March 4.
  11. Randy, you have to remember there are a lot of us here that do not have access to Hobby Lobby, Hobby Town, Ollies or Mejers. So when the online guys offer a clearance it's about the best a lot of us are going to get. Count yourself lucky that you can get to HL or Ollies for those really cheap kits.
  12. Assuming Revell keeps going the 29 roadster is supposed to be out soon and then the 30 Coupe some time after that. I would guess not until well into the second half of the year.
  13. Sweet! One of the best builds of this kit that I've seen.
  14. A bit disappointing that a newly tooled kit could be so poorly designed. Especially considering some of the great kits that Aoshima has put out in recent years.
  15. In the last 2 days I've spent over 4 hours clearing snow. About a foot Saturday and another six inches today and it's still snowing. Through it all I keep telling myself at least I don't have to worry about forest fires, mudslides, earthquakes, tsunamis, typhoons or hurricanes......at least I don't have to worry about forest fires........... You guys seem to have to pay dearly to live the dream....
  16. Never heard of them. Assuming another type of chinese knock off. Great price for a brush with 3 needle, nozzle combinations. Let us know how it works and it's durability.
  17. Land lines are obsolete? I must have missed the memo. Would give up the cell phone long before I would ever give up the land line. My cell phone gets turned on about 3 times month when I head out of town to a club meeting.
  18. Probably the same reason why we've had nothing but a simple snap together for the current Mustang. You would think a full detail kit of current cars like this would be a shoe in for trying to keep younger modellers in the hobby as they graduate past snap tite kits.
  19. I think we also have to remember this is not the first time Revell has gone through this. Who owned them before Hobbico? Was it Binney Smith? It survived and hopefully will survive this disturbance as well.
  20. Thanks for the clarification, James. I should have picked up on the "distributes" aspect of that statement.
  21. Did not know they owned Italeri as well. This may have a major impact on out hobby. So much for worrying about whether the 30 Ford A coupe will be out again and when. This changes everything doesn't it?
  22. The last picture looks like an Austin Bantam.
  23. Very cool. Nice job of doing a Willys in a different way.
  24. Dan, I'd be happy to box some up and send it to you. We have enough and more is coming down.
