  1. Weolcme back to the model cars forum, Tony.
  2. Alwyas great to see a stock Model A built up. Nice job.
  3. Looking forward to the show! Hope the weather cooperates.
  4. Thanks for doing this Dave. Glad you are out there trying to make sure the board (or mechanics thereof) works properly. Hoping it will perk things up. Because when I count to 1030 (as 1001, 1002, 1003 etc) and a topic still hasn't come up I leave the site and come back with fingers crossed later.
  5. And if you are buying gloves (latex or nitrile) that will be handling a model be sure to go with the non-powdered type otherwise there will be a trail of powder and you'll be cursing.
  6. Looking forward to the show. Will be vending for the first time. Now, to figure out what I'm willing to part with.
  7. Erico, going to the contest on Saturday?
  8. Cale, There's quite a few of us but I don't think the board sort by Nationlaity so it's hard to say how many.
  9. Well, my friend, I know diddly about motorcycles but it certainly looks nice. At least you don't have to worry about me asking to go for a ride.
  10. Welcome to the forum, Gary. Hope all your stuff is still dry after that flooding Windsor received earlier this week.
  11. Check with Bob's paints. He can match most HOK paint. Check the car aftermarket section for contact info.
  12. until

Nede to change this to September 30th.
  13. Looking forward to the show as usual. Kudos to you, Bob, for continuing your work promoting it.
  14. I have to agree with Ron. I drive down to Newmarket to meet with a model building group. I've been going for a year and never have I seen a reset in the models there. Although I think maybe the Starsky and Hutch Torino just hit the shelf but I'm not sure. They could clear some space but they never seem to do clearances like your Hobby Lobby's seem to do.
  15. David, I meet with a group of model builders once a month at a Michaels in Newmarket. I've been attending the group for a year and I've yet to see a reset in the model kit stock in that time. None of the kits that've come out in the last year have shown up there. Sad compared to what I read about what those south of us can access at Hobby Lobby.
  16. I'll second Bill's post. Happy Birthday James! Here's to many more editions of the Stash Report.
  17. Happy Canada Day! 150 years strong.
  18. I would guess that, in this day and age, the paint job is probably a wrap and not real paint.
  19. Unfortunately that is becoming a big problem in Canadian cities. Out of country buyers buying up property and doing whatever they want pretty much. And it's worse, I think, for you folks on the west coast. I'm sure the town council is happy as this investor is building "affordable" housing.
  20. Thanks for the pics, Chad. I am one who definitely not impressed with the axle through the engine approach to this kit but I will give that it is well hidden and it is making me reconsider this kit. Thanks, again.
  21. They are listed in the Aftermarket Directory pinned at the top of this section of the board.
  22. Yes, that was one wild ride! Amazing how that safety cell works but thank goodness it did.
  23. In that one picture the Corvette looks huge in behind the Montego. Great story.
  24. Volvo P1800!
  25. Long story short - something happened with the molds in China. The problem has been sorted out. The kits will go into production again soon so keep an eye out here or at your favourite retailer for them coming back some time this year. If you're not in a hurry don't pay the ridiculous Ebay prices.
