  1. James, a scriber is great for deepening panel lines so they don't flatten out/disappear when painted. Also if you are doing conversion work, for example changing a 4 door to a 2 door, the scriber comes in handy for making new door cut lines etc.
  2. Not what I was picturing when you said female ranger but that is great work! All the colours and shading on this very small figure is great. Job well done.
  3. That t-shirt is too cool for school! Tom, ya gotta wear that one to NNL East so we can spot you!
  4. I'm with Mike and Alyn. When the Hudson and C300 were announced, I was all excited over the Hudson and rather ho-hum about the C300. But seeing them built especially the black one - now on the gotta have list. Thanks all involved! And Skip, I like the way you think. A 56 Continental in 1/25th would be fantastic!
  5. Love Woodies! Great job on that one. Have loved the mercs since the Mod Squad had one.
  6. No Mercedes this year?
  7. Ooooh! Diorama idea! Park it sideways, put a ramp next to it and have Fonzie on a motorcycle heading toward the ramp! Eh? Eh? Seriously, cool build.
  8. By the by if you're just down as far as Orillia, Lahay's hobby shop is an all around hooby shop with a little bit of everything for everyone (yarn, trains, art supplies etc) but not a bad kit selection for a small city store. They are on Mississaga street in Orillia.
  9. Derick, if you're in Toronto Wheels & Wings is a fantastic hobby shop. They have everything model related you could ever want. They are on Danforth Road just west of Woodbine ave. If you find yourself further east Dailey's Hobbies is also a fantastic hobby shop. It's in Whitby on Thickson road.
  10. I went with model for the same reason Del did: That antenna is about 2 inches around if that's a real car.
  11. Welcome Ed! That's a sweet 32 Vicky! Hope you enjoy your time here on the board.
  12. Gee, I have a 2 hr drive just to attend a regular club meeting. NNL East is about a 10 hr drive but well worth it.
  13. Not really thrilled with the new 2&1/2 Men. This weeks episode they spent half of it vomitting. Really? This is comedy? My wife said: "This is why we don't watch this show anymore. They've run out of ideas and are reduced to people puking for 15 minutes." We'll stick to Big Bang Theory. They've had their off moments but usually much funnier from the same producer.
  14. Motel is booked. Vacation day booked (for travel to event). Looking forward to it!
  15. I was tempted to ditch the subscription but then when checking the price at a hobby store I realized the sub was still cheaper than buying off the rack. As to why it's so much more up here, I don't have an answer for.
  16. That's a great looking Taurus, Mark! The colours on it really click! Sorry couldn't resist... Job well done sir.
  17. Well said, Marcos. Thank You.
  18. This is a great bunch of builds! Love Top Gear (UK, as I've never seen the American counterpart). You have nailed each of these vehicles perfectly! Congrats!
  19. Cool! Thanks for the info Daryl!
  20. Daryl, where did you get the glass and plastic bottles? Thanks.
  21. Super smooth Ford! Love the engine detailing. Job well done, sir!
  22. That is indeed a cool car and a very cool and clean build. Thanks for sharing Raul.
  23. Wow! That is one ratty rig! And I mean that in the nicest of possible ways. Excellent weathering. Job well done, Ken.
  24. Great Ford and very realistic as to what most of us keep clean and shiny and what parts we don't. Good job!
  25. That is one mean lookin' machine. Love the colour contrasts aluminum vs black as Jon said. Job well done!
