Mike take care of yourself. That sounds like an allergic reaction. Being that itchy is one of the worst things that can happen to you.

So I had to get a few things from Walmart today. With all of my recent health issues I had gotten a disabled parking placard. Unfortunately all of those spots were taken but I managed to get a spot close to the door. When I came out to leave a cop was writing a ticket for a truck that did not have a placard or disabled plate parked in one of the designated spots. Those tickets are a minimum of $250. It pleased me to see the person get a ticket for their selfish stupidity.

Question/New Topic for us Oldtimers
bobthehobbyguy replied to TransAmMike's topic in The Off-Topic Lounge
Slowly getting back to my routine. Did grocery shopping and got some much needed yard work done. I have gotten some great bench time in. Got a model finished and will be posting it. Grateful for still being around and getting better and better every day. -

It always amazes me when the cure can cause serious problems. It doesn't seem like a reasonable tradeoff. -
I cannot see making an effort to kill something when it can be avoided. I always slow down to avoid hitting squirrels and cats. In a of my years I only hit one squirrels. I was driving on a road at 35 and he darted out a couple of feet from the front of the car and there was no way to avoid hitting him. I felt terrible and hoped he died quickly.

My niece, and her husband and my great nephew were there. Just get home and am going to get some bench time in before i go to bed tonight. It's great to be home.

So my first week in my convalescent I had a two bed room to myself. Two days ago I had a room mate who has been recovering from a fall. He is c9nstantly calling staff to help him up. He is capable but a majority of the time he chooses to be helpless. The last two nights his actions have distrusted my sleep. I was up 5 or 6 times last night. I am getting monumentally annoyed becuase it's making it hard for me to doing the things I need to do to go home. He needs assistance when he gets up for the fall but not at the excessive frequency he has been doing. I had to bite my tongue when I heard him ask his wife when he was going home. Don't understand how he thinks he can put no effort into getting better when he is making no effort to doing anything. Hopefully tonight will be better. Regardless there is going to be a change. It's a pain in the rear for me and the staff who have told him they have limited bandwidth. I just found out that my roommate has dementia and is not just a person who relishes being a victim. Hoping tonight is better.

How many Wips are too many?it really boils down to what you are comfortable doing. Everybody's way of doing thins aree different. Just like the subject matter is ones personal preference. There are no fixed rules with m modeling.
