  1. Harry when you consider that buying audience then was mostly kids there probably not a lot of complaints. Considering now the flack they get when something is wrong a mob would form to burn the company down. Still a pretty sleazy way to cash in on the funny car market.
  2. Fair question. I think its just a compromise that has to be made and in most cases most won't even notice.. There just isn't much out there for the belts so one has to use what's available. If you make the teeth in the pulley match that isn't in scale either. Probably the reason you see this in multiple cases. Just curious what would you do to solve the issue.
  3. Doubt we are going to see an update. Looking at his profile this member hasn't been on the site since aug 2013. Too bad would be interesting to see how he did the paint
  4. I think if you change the link to this is should work. http://public.fotki.com/misterNNL/1927-ford-screen-si/ Yup that link works.
  5. Very nice. Don't see many stock builds. Looking forward to seeijg more of your work.
  6. Looked at the first post and the intent was model related stuff. If someone wants non model related they can always do one in the off topic lounge.
  7. Interior and chassis look good. We all anger the paint gods once in a while. Just need to give them an offering to keep them happy. What color is the body going to be?
  8. They both look great. Also curious about the box stock comment. I can see you've added plastic to the custom and mesh for the grill for the gasser so neither would be allowed in a box stock class. Still I like what you are doing and will be following.
  9. Glad to see you are back on the bench. Nice update.
  10. Coming together nicely. Always enjoy watching your projects.
  11. Not sure how I missed this recent update. The engine looks great.
  12. Nice work. Great paint and detail.
  13. Sounds like a reasonable explanation of what happened. Good thing you hadn't decided to strip the paint. Its great it has mostly resolved itself.
  14. Great color for the interior. It really has the appearance of leather. What ratio do you use for your future wash?
  15. Great work. So when will you consider this done.
  16. Great start. Roll cage looks great. What is the source of the engine you are going to use. Any pictures of the engine?
  17. Jantrix you only took half my comment I said make no comment or point out a positive aspect of thev model yes making a comment is preferred but shouldn't be mandatory I will repeat it again if we all reserve constructive criticism to those that want it everybody should be happy This is a hobby and shkuld be a fun and enjoyable experience nothing bad is going to happen if a model is not perfect Finally I'm done commenting on this I've made my case for how the bad reputation can be fixed and have no desire to spend more time on it One can either agree or disaggree with me
  18. Definitely poor little beetle. Great job on the rust. Too often I see rust on top of the paint rather than under it.
  19. Looks great in that blue. Like the new tires and wheels you've added.l

Great job. The blue and the flames go together well. Know what you mean about a simple project getting out of hand. Simple can be as bad as the word free. Sometimes free ends up costing one in the long run.
  21. Nice like it in red.
  22. Cool I like it.
