I don't think the red paint is the issue. How old is the primer. Also the 1000 may be light to start with you might want to use the 600 before the primer. You really need to be sure that you scuff the entire body. You might want to try some experiments with spoons. Do want you did originally on one with the 1000 and another with 600.
side note you should open a new topic in modeling questions. Call it paint problems or something to the effect. More people will see it and somebody else that is having the same problems is more likely to see. You will also make the mods happy also.
I agree with you guys 100 percent. Also if the quality process is flawed it doesn't make a differnce whether it in house or subcontracted. Second when you have the bean counters wanting the subcontractors to make it cheaper quality is going to suffer.
I hate that myself. The theaters used to have ushers to stop people bothering others. Now theres one person selling popcorn and one projectionist for all of the movies played. One of the reasons that movie theaters are going away. I can rent a movie and not be bothered with inconsiderate people.
Thanks Bill I was wondering. I knew about the 24th , 25th and 8th. Of course most of the diecast are 18th. The only other choice would be to 3d scan a kit and then do a 12th scale. However that would cost some todo.
