  1. I sure wish the top fit better on those....I've never seen one that looked right. Very nice work on yours tho....
  2. That 1/24th scale farm tractor looks pretty neat too....what's a good U.S. source for these Heller kits?
  3. Just a few things....Bobby Allison was Davey's father and that engine is a "Boss" 429. Interesting review though, even with all the errors.
  4. Looks great....thanks for the update.
  5. It's always nice to have someone around who knows how to work these "machines" ..thanks!
  6. I just checked, there are 7 excellent large pics ...I have no idea why you can't see 'em,sorry. Art is there a reason you didn't post 'em here too?
  7. There's a lot more pics on the "other" model site....it still needs quite a bit of work on the front end before it's released. imo. it also has chrome tailights w/out separate lens which struck me as kinda odd....
  8. There seem to be a few models with broken axles...what happened, did someone take the term "slammed" too literally?
  9. By using a 164 cubic inch engine with those giant slicks you'd never have any trouble with wheel spin,of course merely starting that motor would probably blow it apart...
  10. I'm mostly interested in the short bed/six banger version, is it on the same schedule?
  11. and the Club Sedan? Same time frame or.....?
  12. No need to glue the chassis to the body on the Tamiya kit...if it sits too high just set the frame in above the mounts front and rear intead of into them...if you don't like it lower, just put the frame in "correctly".
  13. It can be lowered very easily...by mounting the chassis deeper into the body above the locating points. Almost like they designed it that way, it just snaps into place no glue needed...lowers the car just the "right" amount.
  14. Those sedan bumper guards are gonna punch some nasty dents in the tailgates.....the rest of the 57 looks great!
  15. You guys should see the real cars Paul restores...they're even nicer.
  16. I was just joking.....I know there are two different body styles coming..
  17. I noticed the photos make the Hudsons look like they have roofs of different lengths.....camera issues? Sorry I couldn't resist..
  18. They look great....Thanks Tim and Gerry. I'm guessing they'll be for sale before too much longer?
  19. I'm not too interested in the Plymouth (sorry) but I'm really looking forward to the new Hudsons..how are they coming along?

    Shinny

Yep that's *shiny*...but glossy would be the word I'd use...
  21. Since they apparently were made only for this promotion(?), I doubt you'll see 'em again.
  22. I like it a lot...looks much better than the Desoto bumpers that have been used before.
  23. Cameo bed sides were fiberglass....
  24. Very nice I love this series of kits. I wish they'd re-issue these kits....anybody know if the molds still exist?
