  1. Nothing received since your first
  2. None that I am aware. The Gen 5 ZL1 Camaro from Revell came with the LSA/LS9 Engine, but no LT4 in a kit. Iceman Collections does sell a nicely detailed 3D print LT4 though. https://icemancollections.com/products/chevy-lt4-supercharged-engine-1-24-1-25?_pos=1&_sid=76603e4ee&_ss=r
  3. I have this one that I am looking to unload
  4. Our town had a downtown car show yesterday afternoon. Perfect day for it. Temperatures in the upper 70's (although some humidity which is unusual for this time of year) and mostly sunny. Our town sits on the banks of the Columbia and Washougal Rivers and about 15 miles east of downtown Vancouver WA and 20 miles from downtown Portland OR. Several good ideas for modeling projects. 5. Small diameter plastic rod I bent and drilled for the spool wire that goes into the header. Next time around I plan on making the connectors a bit shorter. I think they came out too long. I carved out the muffler from Evergreen rectangular rod, drilling the three vents. This was the first attempt, and I went back and redid it.
  6. Got major components ready now for the body I've got the chassis as far as it will go until engine and interior merge. Interior is done as far as I can get it until body assembly. The wheels and tires are now ready. Got the engine ready to merge with the chassis. So, time to start the body details. Stripes are Hugger Orange not orange as the Revell or Fred Cady decals have them and Keith Marks set is a tad too red. I was readying to mask and spray when I found a set online and got them. So now the body detailing begins. Some details in the callouts in the images.
  7. It'll run my Iwata HP-BS, so, hopefully, it will run the Grex.
  8. There are small bottle options for the Preval if you go that route. But I would recommend first considering the portable airbrush. You can attach existing airbrushes you own. I personally use one of my Iwata's with it.
  9. Another option if the aerosol is not available would be the Preval Spray System. You load the bottle with the airbrush ready paint and spray as a shaker can.
  10. I don't know if MCW offers aerosols at the moment, but he does have a contact us on his page where one could ask. Ass regards the portable airbrush, whether the poster meant it or not, it could be used as one would use a shaker can as no power source is needed when spraying. I have one for small jobs. It charges via USB and I can connect an airbrush hose with the brush to it and use it wherever. Ideally a booth is helpful, but not necessary. No control of PSI, so you get what you get. It works well for my uses. This is the one I use:
  11. My very small haul from a kit sale today. Good prices. Both sealed kits
  12. Ditto that. I've had a friend experience the same with Purple Power. I use Dawn Dish Soap as well. Have yet to experience any problems. Also, be sure to repeat after you've done any mods or scribed lines to be sure any newly exposed resin is also treated.
  13. They vary by manufacturer and sometimes model. The grid paper you showed would not likely fit a lot of cars. Some of the lines have houndstooth and some are vinyl.
  14. I usually use Joe Morgan as I don't build quickly and can wait. Your product is AWESOME. No more can be said
  15. Matt, I sent you a PM. I do have that triple kit set unbuilt and, if you do not have it, can photo the parts of the Watson Roadster for you. The only model in that set I plan on doing is the Lotus.
  16. This event was advertised for some time. When I went to spectate, it was a disappointment to me. Perhaps the intermittent rain showers kept some away. Or there were other events people wanted to attend (even allowing it was Father's Day). Several of the vehicles looked liked they had been taken off the jackstands in the garage for an early outing. Some looked like potential entrants for the Concours D'Lemons. Anyway, I took very few photos and left within an hour. Link to Album
  17. The Newgarden 2023 Indy 500 winner and Best Coca Cola Vehicle from our club get together with the LAMA club from Eugene.
  18. I actually owned a 68 Z/28 that was stolen and totaled by the thief when chased by the police. Then I got a 70 Z/28. Still wish I had either but loved my 68 (except for gas mileage). Picture is about 2 weeks after I got the 68 and before the engine mods (headers, cold air, short ram, etc. were down by the dealer).
  19. Back on the bench. Got through the projects that put it on the shelf. Now is the time to get this back in gear and complete. The stock replicas would have A.I.R. smog systems on them. Even though Revell has an A.I.R. air pump in another kit, there is no exhaust tubing and muffler. It is a small part but, I cobbled one together with various pieces of Evergreen plastic. It is not perfect and still needs a little cleanup, but since it will be a bit deep in the engine bay, should pass muster. In the future, I will need to figure out how to do a more refined version and replicate it. I have about seven future projects that would benefit from this part. Need to carry on with the hoses and the connectors next. Also, back to painting and decaling the body.
  20. I just pulled out the Revell 69 Camaro Pace Car to get back at it. Started the base paint and engine detail.
  21. This one. I guess it is actually the canopy. It has been in the box for two moves. One from Washington State to Chicago area and then back. The motor one is on the lower tree in the third photo. If still interested, PM me. Thanks
  22. Well the Union kit is supposedly the IMC kit which came out in 1966 and John Mecom's Lola T-70 Ford raced first in 1965. So, I am guessing that 1965/66 would be the prototype year.
  23. Cowling is MIA. I need to find that. The truck is long gone. So, I only have boat and trailer. I'd be interested in a trade, but I need to find the cowling. Don't know why it is not in the box.
